Villa vacation rentals in Kalamaki Beach

We stayed at the Villa Cardia for two weeks and enjoyed every minute in this spacious comfortable villa built in a traditional style and in a beautiful old village. Car recommended. Very friendly host. Would definitely return.

We loved our 1 week stay at Sunset Villa! The location is perfect. Private with amazing views, but still close enough to restaurants and shops. Rethymno is a short drive away. The villa was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor space is particularly special with a large pool, nice seating areas, and great views from the roof terrace. Ibrahim and Karima were great hosts, very welcoming and helpful. Ibrahim was in regular contact with us after booking and waited up late for our arrival at the villa. He even provided eggs, milk, butter, bread, and fruit for us which was such a nice surprise! We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Crete.

Really magical place. Just a stone's throw from the village center. The place was comfy, well thought out, clean, the views were amazing and Monica was very kind and flexible. I would absolutely recommend this place :)

We had a wonderful stay at Kitsa’s place. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very well-equipped, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with Kitsa was excellent – she was always helpful, quick to respond, and made sure we had everything we needed while also being very respectful of our privacy, which we truly appreciated. We felt completely at ease throughout our time there and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

Wonderfully well equipped Villa. Beautiful location surrounded by mountains, amazing views to wake up to every morning. Perfect for large groups of people with plenty of comfortable living space. Great location for peaceful relaxation, or to be used as a central location to explore Crete from. A hire car is a necessity, be prepared for narrow village roads and winding mountain passes. Meronas has a few small cafés/ restaurants with good food, all locals were very friendly! Check in is completely painless, the hosts were incredibly useful with very fast response time to any issues. Strongly recommend!

Where ancient luxury meets modern super luxury. A perfect spot to live your best life doing very little but enjoy the simple pleasures of life. From pool to steam room, from pool to taverna. This place takes you away from modern tourism a falls back into a gentle Cretan life.

Amazing view and access to an almost private bay. Relaxing location for people who like to be in a quiet place.

This place is perfect - it looks as good, if not better, than the pictures. We were only there as a couple, and this place felt huge, but it could easily accommodate a big family or a group of friends. Nice to have NETFLIX on the TV for when it gets dark early in September/October. Great, well-equipped kitchen meant we cooked and ate-in most nights. Comfy beds, good pillows, and nice showers. Overall, absolutely ideal. Only drawback is that you definitely need a car, as there is only one local cafe - you need one to go to the shops, to a restaurant, etc. Also, our host Maria-Eleni was so lovely, and couldn’t do enough for us!

Great stay at the villa. beautiful views and very nicely furnished villa. pool and spa area a real highlight. can get a bit windy but with floor to ceiling windows everywhere you can be inside and still get the amazing views. would stay again.

We enjoyed the stay very much and everything was wonderful! The pool was clean and nice and cool! Requests were responded to immediately and you are only 20 minutes away from the most amazing beaches! Since the accommodation is remote but close to a busy road, you should take Oropax with you if you want to sleep without air conditioning ( which all work perfectly) and may be sensitive to noise. All in all it was a wonderful house with everything you need! Many thanks for everything :)

We LOVED everything about this house! The house is beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you need. Eleni and Georgios are very friendly, welcoming and attentive to detail. The house is located in a great location. It's situated in a quiet neighborhood and is walking distance to one of the prettiest beaches on the island and several restaurants and shops. There is also a great grocery store just down the road. And the views! There are views from every room! The hike on the east side of the beach is spectacular with beautiful flowers and plant life and views of the water and distant mountains. Eleni and Georgios, thank you for everything! We hope that we can come back one day.

We had such a lovely stay at Manolis’ house. Our family of 7 (incliding a 2 & 5 year old & my 75 yo mom) all loved our visit. Manolis met us and gave us such a warm welcome with so many local tips and recommendations. It was even more beautiful then the photos and full od beautiful family heirlooms. The village of Amari is beautiful and peaceful and the villa is perfectly located in the middle of the village right next to the taverna. The views are amazing, the pool an numerous patios are gorgeous with stunning views and it is so peaceful and private. There were so many lovely complementary foods from the local vendors on arrival which made us feel right at home. Rumy cooked us the most amazing meals we had in the region that were so incredibly delicious! Do not miss her meals! She modified multiple dishes for our dietary restrictions. She is truly a masterful chef and such a wonderfully warm person. Our kids loved the home, pool, outdoor cats & Rumy! Everyone was so kid friendly!

Fantastic villa with beautiful pool and view. Downstairs at the sea you can watch nice snorkeling and fishing thanks to the super clear water. We and our kids enjoyed it. First village is 30 minutes drive so provide plenty of groceries.

The villa is absolutely stunning and so comfortable. Everything you could wish for. We loved it! We had a delightful stay.

Amazing place and hosts! Dinos and Cleance were really helpfull with the arrival and the place is incredible. The surroundings are beautiful, the swimming pool and facilities great, and the house clean and with all that we needed. They also had some amazing details with my friends and I, making our stay really fun and letting us know more about Crete and Greece people. 100% recommended

Lovely place to stay, we loved it!!! Anastasia was quick to respond and very friendly. I would stay here again on my next visit. make sure you eat at the tavern at the end of the street if staying, great food and drinks!

The place is exactly as shown in the pictures. Theodoros is a very good host, always very friendly and always available. He sent us some restaurants and shopping opportunities right after our arrival. Our check-in and check-out was flexible and could be adjusted to our flight times by arrangement. All in all, we felt very welcome and well taken care of from day 1! I can recommend Theodoros' villa to anyone who wants to have a nice vacation in Crete without hesitation!

Our stay in Villa Elia in Atsipopoulo was wonderfull! The house is very comfortable and makes you feel at home right away. What definitely helps with that is the very warm welcome George gives you and the welcome gifts. The cheese pastry his mom made was delicious! We liked the villa being in the middle of the village with all the amenities you need on walking distance (bakery, supermarket, taverne, bar, pharmacy, pizzeria ...) and at the same time the quietness of the house and pool area. Mostly locals there when we were there in April (what we really like). Rethimno, with nice shops, bars, restaurants, beach etc, is really close by. George and his family are always close by for questions or just a little chat. We will definitely come back!

Lovely vila in a quiet area. We had a wonderfull week at the vila in October and enjoyed the vila and pool as a familly. The vila is new and very nice with a good view. Host is so friendly and responsive with any queetions or problems. We would go back:-)

It was a great stay. A little remote but with a car it was perfect. A few minutes you were at the promenade and restaurants and bars were also easily accessible. Overall, we were very satisfied
