We had an amazing time at Elisabeth's place! From the moment we arrived, her warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The house is beautiful, spacious, and super serene—ideal for a relaxing getaway. The surroundings were stunning, with vibrant flowers and cheerful birds creating a peaceful atmosphere. We had a blast on the swings—who says they’re just for kids? Having lunch in the shaded backyard was a highlight, and Elisabeth had all the essentials covered, which made our stay even more comfy. In short, Bush Willow is a total gem. Thanks to large windows and glass mosaic, the space is filled with light and the beauty of nature and art. We spent four days here and felt very nourished and inspired. We slept well and woke up to bird songs every day. We prepared our own meals in the well-equipped kitchen. For groceries, we called for a taxi to take us to the nearest store about 10-15 minutes away. In the evenings, we lit up the fire place for which a generous amount of wood was provided. Anselm and Zorina are warm-hearted hosts who provided us with helpful local information and were always responsive. It is clear that Bush Willow is created and maintained with a lot of love and care. Highlighs of our stay also included walking around and visiting Kitengela Glass. The place is a remarkable testament to what a creative life can build.

I really enjoyed my stay at Partrick’s place, the road is rough but the drive to the cabin is worth it. We even called wanting to extend our stay but the cabin was already booked! Joshua the chef is also such a nice touch, he made us super tasty meals, was always helpful and made sure the place was always clean. We’ll definitely be visiting again and I’d definitely recommend the cabin to anyone wishing to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city or connect with friends and family somewhere cozy. Please book if you have any hesitations , it’s worth the drive!

Excellent off-grid location in wonderful surroundings meant to elicit the Muskoka, Canada feel. We had a great stay. A bit of a glitch with check in communications that was sorted out efficiently by Peter who was on-site. Of note are no wifi and no TV, which were not an issue for us. Best to have good food supply on arrival. Best to arrive early so as to settle and enjoy the surroundings. We stayed 1 night, which was too short. A few days would have been splendid.
