Beautiful place and very intimate setting! Spent my 'baby-moon' here, finding out the gender of our first baby due in November - No regrets whatsoever! Could not have asked for a more beautiful & peaceful environment to appreciate the news. Julia was very understanding of an issue which took place in the midst of doing our gender reveal and offered her congratulations :) Will definitely return.

Lovely spot near Lang’s beach with a view. We stayed downstairs (two of us). The pool is a nice addition, and the place is really tidy and new. All round a great experience, and the location is perfect as you’re minutes away from other beaches like Waipu Cove.

Beautiful, modern cabin meets beach house in a gorgeous location. Felt like we were in an enchanted meadow far from everyone but still close enough to the beach and town. Nice and private with really great light. Lovely interior exactly as described and photographed . Loved the gas grill and indoor / outdoor living. Super responsive host committed to ensuring the best experience.

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

Great house on an OUTSTANDING property. The views, the walks through native bush, the rock pools, it’s a magical place. The house is extremely comfortable and spacious. We all slept beautifully. Our hosts were exceptional- a perfect balance between being available to assist you, and leaving you in peace.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful Gill's home is. The surroundings are so beautiful, short drive into town where you can find everything your looking for. Gill is such a wonderful and kind host, if you have a chance to visit her home, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my son's wedding so special, so lucky to have met such a amazing woman.

A beautiful architecturally designed house with generous and well thought out living spaces, in a very private and quiet setting. The view is outstanding and would be hard to beat. The natural surroundings are a credit to the owners and are home to a variety of bird life including kiwi. Bedding and linen are very high quality. We loved it so much we are considering returning in the future.

A beautiful home that was well equipped for a busy Christmas Day with family. The outlook was simply breathtaking. We enjoyed the alfresco areas, playing pétanque and finding the tree swing. A simply beautiful retreat to relax and unwind.
