Knox Dojo - Full House 2b/2b

Jackie Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
The home was clean and very inviting. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed. The hosts were welcoming and available to answer questions but not intrusive. We didn't spend much time in the house except eating and sleeping - but it was nice to have a beautiful home away from home. Very lovely stay. Jack and Jackie, Lee and Christi

Perfect for Large Group Stays ~ Kona Forest House

LizetteRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place was perfect for our large family of 11. Gorgeous surroundings. 10 minute drive from grocery stores/ Costco . I really loved that there was a pack and play, baby books and even a sound machine which was wonderful since I had 2 toddlers. Would definitely stay there again if I come back to the Island.

Hoku Ea Sunset Beach House

KenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The place was very beautiful and well located near all the beach fun. The views and ocean breezes were incredible and my family loved it. We left the windows open in the evening and in lulled us to sleep at night. We explored the rocky beach in the backyard and had fun looking for treasures. Our family will be back again soon!! Private guest house in the Hawaii Island tropics.

ScottRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We can’t say enough about Jane’s place, and the incredible time we spent there. The home is lovely and exactly as described, well equipped, and a full stock of beach chairs, snorkels, etc., to make your stay special. The back deck - the one you see in the pictures - is so incredibly beautiful and relaxing. The first night we arrived it rained for a while in the late afternoon and the sounds of the tropical rainforest was like a concert of nature. And our friends the sheep were cute and loved eating the leaves from our hands. Jane and Jim are also some of the best AirBnb hosts we’ve ever had. We can not thank them enough for their responsiveness, flexibility, advice and for simply being two of the nicest people you will ever meet. We even fell in love with their little dog Bella, so much so that she came over the last evening and spent the whole night with us, cuddling on the couch and sleeping with us. We miss her already!

Oceanview Oasis + Pool + A/C

GarethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Naomi’s place is beautiful, peaceful, and spacious. The lanai is an exotic and fun feature and the house is full of character. Tropical frogs serenade at night time while the morning starts with beautiful bird song and a view of the ocean. Meanwhile, beaches, restaurants, and shops are only a 5-10 minute drive away. When you stay in the house though, you feel as though you have escaped the hustle and bustle of day to day life. I stayed here with my wife, two young children, and in-laws. It was a fantastic time and I will always remember it!

Staying at this cloud forest Airbnb in Hawaii was an unforgettable experience. The home is spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything we needed—including a full kitchen and washing machine. The view from the top is absolutely stunning, with sweeping ocean vistas that made every sunrise and sunset magical. Tucked away in nature, it's peaceful and serene—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We loved having coffee on the lanai, surrounded by birdsong and misty trees. We had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb. The house was well-suited for our family and had a convenient location, not too far from downtown, making it easy to get around. The kitchen was well stocked, which was helpful for our meals. We also appreciated the lovely outside sitting areas where we could enjoy the Hawaiian mornings with our coffee. There was also plenty of beach items to use and play with! Overall, this property met our expectations for a comfortable family stay. We would recommend it to others looking for a practical option in the area.

Holualoa Hale

Wow! All I can say is Wow! It was a beautiful place with the most amazing views of the ocean. The best breeze comes in the open windows. The outside patio was almost my favorite part. It was wonderful to sit out there with the lights off and listen to nature. My favorite part was a lovely young girl, who lives on the top floor, that talked to my sister and I, and picked some “Flowers” for us. The space is extremely clean. We cooked a few meals with ease cause all that the kitchen offers. The bathroom was small but perfect for us and water pressure was just right. Couch bed and bedroom bed were nice and comfy. It was nice knowing that there were plenty of beach towels, beach chairs and a small cooler for us to take to the beach. Being able to wash our beach stuff when we got back was a huge bonus.I would highly recommend this place for a family with children. Don’t pass this one up. I would stay here again and again.
A comfortable bedroom features a spacious bed adorned with a leaf-patterned green quilt. Natural light filters through the large window, revealing a view of the greenery outside. A wooden dresser and a sleek television complete the room's furnishings.

Mauna Loa Village - 1 Bedroom

ShannonRating, 5 stars15 months ago
we were very happy with our stay. The unit was quiet and spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. We had everything that we needed. There were several pools at the complex and a fitness area which was great. Across the street there was another resort (outrigger) with 2 restaurants and they also had a market on weds and friday with other options for food and drinks ! The grocery store was only a 5 min drive away and there was also a couple of restaurants near there. Downtown is about a 20 min drive. There wasn't much for beach access or walking paths near here so that is just something to note if you really like that. There was a waterfront walking path near the outrigger but it is short and it was closed during our stay because of the big waves. Other than that, it was perfect.

Island Time (2-Bedrooms, across from beach)

TeresaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved the two bedroom condo. Our hosts must have spent a lot of money updating the inside. I knew I was staying in a home with all the required amenities. There were a few helpful extras like beach chairs, large beach towels, and water shoes for walking on the lava. The kitchen had extras like a home - garlic press, skewers, ziplock bags. We loved sitting on the deck morning and night watching the surfers enter and exit. A special treat in January was watching the whales breach! We would stay here again in an instant.
A tranquil pool area is surrounded by lush greenery and tropical plants. A thatched-roof pavilion is located in the background, with several lounge chairs positioned for relaxation. Stones create a natural border around the pool's edge, reflecting the serene atmosphere.

This place was perfect for my family of four. The unit was very clean, very spacious and had everything we needed. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. The pool areas at the resort were great and not crowded. Staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. Tim was able to arrange this place for us very last minute and all went very smooth. Would definitely stay here again.
