"Gamlahuset" from around 1880 is rented out. The house is located on a small courtyard in Gardsvågen on Talgje, 100 meters from the lake. Here there is a beach, and there are hiking trails around almost the entire island. From Gardsvågen it is 1 km to the speedboat dock. From here it is 20-50 min by speedboat to Stavanger. It is 35 minutes by car to Stavanger city center. At Talgje there are also opportunities for frisbee golf and sauna rental (Anker Gaard) and there is a sand volleyball court 1 km from the house.

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.

The house is located in Stavanger’s most attractive tourist attraction Old Stavanger. Grab the rare opportunity to live inside a tourist attraction with antique furnishings, enjoy the old lifestyle without letting go of the modern day comfort. Nobody knows exactly when the original house was built, but a local historian has found the name of owners back to 1736. Today it has a modern bathroom, kitchen and internet to make sure that all your needs are covered.

Our house is located in a beautiful, quiet location and with views of the fjord and mountains only about 20 minutes (by car) from Preikestolen, probably the most famous excursion destination with us. The Kjerag is also easily accessible from here. Pets are welcome. We warmly welcome a maximum of 6 guests. You will stay in the lower, fully furnished apartment. In summer, sun from 10 am to sunset. We are a registered fishery, so fish export is possible
