Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

New “Toahus” with shower cabin, sink and electrically powered incineration toilet. Fresh water is easily collected from the host. Bed linen and towels are included. Cleaning is not included. All guests clean up after themselves, all equipment is provided in the cabin.

Mysig timmerstuga vid sjön Sommen. Utmärkt för er som vill komma ut till det stillsamma och varva ner från vardagsstressen. Lugnt läge med den vilda naturen runt omkring er. 150 meter bakom stugan finns grillplats och vacker vy över sjön Sommen. Fina skogsområden med promenadstråk och vandringsleder för svamp- och bärplockning. Stor chans att få se mycket vilt som rådjur, älg, räv och även Havsörn. 500 meter promenadstig till ångbåtshamn, badplats och fiske.

The pond cabin is located on beautiful Asby udde. Here you live in the middle of beautiful nature with a nice view of the landscape. Large spacious porch with both day and evening sun. Covered hiking trails close to the cabin. Possibility of nice fishing in beautiful Ödesjön, where you walk in 10 minutes. There are plenty of pike and perch. It is also possible to rent a rowing boat. Free access to trampoline, easier rocking and toys.
