“A beautiful and stylishly decorated guest house, with high-quality fixtures and fittings. Located in a quiet and calm area, it is very close to and easy to get to from the bridge. The hosts live on the same plot which ensured a smooth check-in and their availability if we had any questions or needed any tips for the island. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend to others!”
Maria och Jag hyr ut vår renoverade lillstuga som ligger i det lilla fina Stora Rör, mitt emellan Färjestaden (Ölandsbron) och Borgholm.
“We immensely enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. Even though the space is limited (as accurately stated in the description), it is used very smartly so that you have everything you need. It is a very clean and charming place. We especially enjoyed our sunny BBQs in the peaceful garden, the short walk to the idyllic harbour and seaside, and the good location which made trips to the north as well as the south of the island easily accessible. Also a big thanks to Anders and Maria who not only gave nice recommendations for places in the area but were also very considerate and brought us a fan when it got a bit warm without us even having to ask for it :)”
Cosy summer cottage close to the small fishing harbour of Bläsinge. About 500 meters from one of Ölands natural beaches and close to the World Heritage Alvaret and the rich bird life of the island.
“If you'd like to disengage from crazy life and need a retreat where you can refind balance, or if you're just looking for a cool somewhat remote place on the beautiful island of Öland, that this holiday home / storstuga is certainly worth it. Surrounded by agriculture lands, close to pittoresque harbour and only a few kilometres from the main road, the house offers a perfect cosy base of discovering the island in a style typical for Sweden. It is best to go by car, motorbike or bicycle. The place has everything you need for a short or longer stay, but do bring your own bed sheets and towels though. We've visited the place in COVID19 times and for us it was the perfect getaway to take social distancing seriously while enjoying a weekend away. The only little downside is that the water of the house's own well smells a bit of sulfur, but for drinking water there is a tap point close by. We didn't meet Urban and Jenny personnally, but the communications were very smooth and nice. We felt very welcome and at home.”
