Monthly Rentals in Johns Hopkins Homewood, Baltimore

Yvette’s place was in a great location if you need to visit John’s Hopkins (easy walking distance). Just what we needed for a few days. Comfortable and clean! However, parking can be challenging especially if the back spot is taken, but Yvette was able to help us out.

We have stayed at Joe’s place before, and it is no surprise that we booked again this time. Which stands out about this lovely home is the TLC obviously has put into the place. The furnishings and artwork are beautiful and authentic, and it felt like home through and through. While it is hard to pick a favorite nook or room, the garden was hands-down my go-to comfort zone. Everything seemed to be in bloom, but again it was the maintenance and TLC that made it an exquisite place to hang out. Our dog did not want to come inside, and neither did I!

This was a really great find. I was visiting for a week for my lab intensive at JHU and it was the perfect spot for me. It was ~15-20 min easy walk to Homewood campus and had a good number of restaurants and markets nearby. The space felt safe, clean, had everything I needed, and was really cozy. I intended on cooking more than I actually did but the kitchen was well-equipped with all the basics! The hosts were helpful, fast to respond, and friendly. The only thing I wish I had known was that the stairs to the apartment itself were a little treacherous. I came alone and had 2 heavy suitcases, the stairs and the narrow hall were a challenge when arriving / leaving with anything bulky or heavy. The gentlemen in the downstairs apartment heard me coming down as I left and helped me carry my big suitcase down to the main level (thank you so much, you rock). This isn’t a true complaint though - just something I would have used to pack a little smarter.

This is my second time staying at The Hun and I will again. It is very convenient for me while visiting family who lives nearby. Even though it is on The Ave, which gets a lot of afternoon and evening business, once upstairs it is very quiet and peaceful. Ellie
