Vacation rentals with a kayak in Jefferson County

The Cool Hollow house exceeded our expectations. The hosts were super responsive. The house was historic and beautiful. The yard and setting were just what we were looking for.

We really enjoyed our stay : the house is really nice, everything is clean and super comfortable (beds, sofa…). The proximity to Shenandoah Park, its secluded location yet close to the town, restaurant and grocery store is ideal. Our experience with Suranny was perfect. The jacuzzi on the screened deck facing the garden is awesome. Overall a great experience, we would definitely come back !

Beautiful home and so many unique touches that made this place really special. The view out of the windows was incredible! The home was appointed with everything you need and I loved celebrating my birthday here. The beds were so comfy and the showers were super modern. The only tricky thing as noted by the hosts is that the directions on your navigation will take you too far down the road so definitely keep an eye out for the barrels posted along the road with the signs for the house. I would love to come back and stay here again!!

Terry’s place exceeded our expectations. It was very well furnished, a full lower level suite with plenty of room to relax, beautiful quiet park like setting. Highly recommend and would stay here again anytime.

Kristen's place was exactly what we needed after a long day on the trail. Plenty of space and, most importantly, HOT water in the shower. Think this place saved us. Clean and homey!

Great place - lovely, quiet, peaceful! We will definitely seek it out again when we stay in Front Royal. It will now be our home away from home!

Our family had a truly wonderful time at the house! It was exactly the kind of getaway we needed, and we created some really special memories together. Everyone especially loved using the fire pit in the evenings; it was the perfect spot to relax and chat under the stars. The house itself was great, but what really made the experience was Karie, our host. She was incredibly helpful and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed it so much that we're already looking forward to booking another stay. Planning our next visit is definitely at the top of our list!

I’m not one who typically leaves a review but Olivia definitely deserves a review. It was for my son’s 18th birthday and when I tell you, everything was so flawless. She was nice enough to help me decorate one of the cabins with happy birthday balloons, and a banner! this gesture really shows me that she goes over and beyond for her customers. I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for making our stay fantastic!

A beautiful and peaceful cabin that's also just a short drive to Harper's Ferry. The best of both worlds

Beautiful place me and my boyfriend came here for his birthday we had the best time! Brandi had the space nice and clean when we got there. She is has excellent response time and is very friendly. The cabin itself was amazing the view was incredible! being able to go out and kayak was amazing. The perfect get away for you and your partner! we will definitely be back!

We had a beautiful weekend at the overlook! There was ample space for everyone to sleep, many accommodations already provided, and thorough instructions to assist in finding the cabin. It was beautiful and a weekend to remember!

The house was really nice and a great place to stay! Having the lake directly across the street was really nice to wake up to. The hot tub was such a nice amenity to have, and it was a "proper" hot tub! We would love to stay here again!
