Vacation rentals with lake access in Jefferson County

Great place for a family weekend on the lake. Margot was extremely helpful and proactive in communication and let us know we could check in early. Super helpful all around! Lots of space, games, and outdoor gear which we appreciated. Only things to note were the kayaks were a bit dirty and had ants in them, so they needed to be cleaned. Also worth noting the lake is out the front of the house, not the back. Not a big deal at all, but was unexpected. Overall - great place and would recommend!

Adam’s house is in a beautiful lake. The backyard was a great cola e to hang out. There were life jackets, kayaks, SUPs and other water toys to use. We had a great time. Adam was very responsive too.

All I can say about Aaron’s place is - WOW! The house is even more beautiful than what’s shown in the photos. It was impeccably clean and smelled wonderful from the time we first stepped in the door. The bathrooms were gorgeous and well stocked, the beds and pillows were so comfortable, and the extra touch of amenities was so helpful - fans for each rooms, bathroom supplies, and more than you could possibly need to cook and utilize the kitchen. This Airbnb is thoughtfully laid out and ensures that the renters will have a fantastic stay. I would definitely recommend and hope I can stay again sometime!

Beautiful house, super clean lake, excellent location, grocery store just a mile away. We used canoes and paddle boards, host generously provided table games as well. Pool table was a hit with the boys and they played multiple times a day. Two separate living spaces were great for adults and our teens. We also were so happy to be able to bring our dog with us. Will definitely rent the house again!

Beautiful updated home! Great bedrooms and plenty of space for three couples, a baby and dog! Enjoyed the views from the decks and firepit and chairs were comfortable! Nice area to explore! Was there for a family wedding in Fort Atkinson. Very convenient! Highly recommend!

We were more than pleased with the home in Cambridge. It was beautiful, easy to get to, very clean and welcoming. We were in town for a convention and after spending all day around crowds it was so nice to come to the house and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Angelique has a very nice home and I recommend others to stay there. From the messages left in their guest book I am sure they care for their guests. Thank you for providing a great getaway to enjoy. BTW the guest who visited with her said that she was a very nice young lady. We will be back in Madison in 2029 and will definitely book with her again.

We really enjoyed the space, it was super clean and welcoming. Erin left us a welcome package, the home was large enough to accommodate our large family comfortably. The sectional couch was big enough for us all to gather together and was very comfortable. We would happily stay here again, our only regret was we didn’t have enough time to check out the lake.

Such a cute little cottage! They remodeled the inside to look updated like a modern farmhouse - very nice touches. There was a great size firepit filled with wood and sticks for us to light up and the kids had a blast playing on the sand and in the water. The neighbors are friendly and quiet, and they didn't mind us playing out in the yard all weekend! We loved little touches like the mini fridge being preloaded with a couple drinks and a new set of sand toys for the kids to play with. The hosts were communicative and very generous with a special check in and check out request we had. We will definitely book again!

Very clear, beautiful location on the lake, background and restaurant was awesome. Jake was very friendly and just a nice guy!!!

Wonderful stay with comfortable beds, great communication, Tea/coffee for the morning, new everything, and really clean. We appreciated Ben's responsiveness and that he went above and beyond to accommodate us for our 3 night stay. It is right near the U of W - Whitewater but quiet in the apartment. There was only some noise at night upstairs one of the nights. However, a quick text to Ben and he worked with them to get it quiet again. SO appreciated this stay and Ben's hosting skills! THANK YOU!

It was so comfortable and quiet, which was nice. And what I especially remember is how soft my skin felt after taking a shower.

Perfect place for a girls weekend getaway! We loved how everything was in walking distance and we could easily come and go as we were shopping around Lake Geneva to drop off our goodies. The big kitchen table was amazing for sharing meals, playing games and just sitting around enjoy some great chats! Highly recommend Bill's place for your next stay in downtown Lake Geneva!

Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Steve was very responsive and provided a quick tour of the place at check in. My wife and I traveled with our 2 year old and he had the place ready for a toddler, including a pack-n-play. Location was great, easily walkable to everything in town

Valerie has a truly magical yard! It’s a great area to get away for a little R&R. The place comes stocked with everything you would need for your stay. We appreciated having a kitchen to cook our meals. The location is great if you like to hike or kayak. The river is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Valerie was the best host we have had to date! She goes the extra mile to make sure your taken care of.

Easily one of the best Airbnb’s we stayed in. I would highly recommend it to my friends. Especially for families with children. We stayed at Anja and Chuck’s place in late April for four nights. This was our first visit to Madison. We loved the place. Clean. Has everything. Kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed and we cooked a lot. Kids loved the bunk beds, the games and the piano. Feels very homey and private and designed with so much care and attention to detail. Loved the plants, the art, the books, the music instruments! Parking was convenient and the closed back porch was great for my early work calls when everyone was sleeping. Truly a wonderful place. Anja was very responsive and proactive. Everything was clear. Questions and requests were answered promptly and Anja was super helpful. Would definitely come back if we visit again. Thanks for a lovely visit!

The location is great! The unit is really cute and has some nice updates. Lulu provided some restaurant recommendations that were delicious. The Green Door cafe below is a wonderful spot to get breakfast. There is some noise below from the café in the morning, but it didnt bother us. We had a nice stay and would definitely return if we were in the area again.

There needs to be a level beyond Super Host, like Extra Special Super Host!! Kelly & Scott would definitely qualify!! The Cottage is exactly as it appears on the airbnb site. What you don’t realize is just how comfy, cozy, quiet and peaceful it is. A quick 30 minute highway ride was all it took to connect with family in Madison this holiday weekend. When you live on water, it’s hard to do without the view. Not necessary with the Rock River right in the front yard here. Thanks for the perfect holiday weekend. Cannot wait to come back to The Cottage.

We took our family on a long weekend vacation to explore Lake Geneva and this was such a perfect lake side cottage that was only 20 mins from Lake Geneva. It was so nice to come home to a quiet spot to fish and relax. The cabin is so clean, cozy, cute and had more then everything we needed.

Wonderful stay! It’s the perfect location and has amazing charm. A short walk to Main Street shops, restaurants, and of course the lake! Brennan is a great host - responsive and shares local recommendations. Easy check-in/check-out process. Clean. Safe. Comfortable beds. All around great place! Would highly recommend and would come back!

We were impressed by the cleanliness and open feeling of the place. It was a little smaller than we expected and had very limited seating but fit our group of 3 ok. I can’t imagine it being comfortable for a larger group though unless you’re only using the place to sleep! Overall it was a pleasant experience, beds were comfortable, kitchen well-appointed and the hot tub was nice, but we did feel that the price, once the cleaning fee was added on, was a little steep.

We had a wonderful stay at Jenna’s place. A perfect location on the lake, fantastic backyard and plenty of amenities. Would definitely love to return!

Angela’s cabin is the definition of cozy, charming, and relaxing. Tucked so close to the water, it feels like you’re floating on a houseboat! The one-bedroom space was just right for me, my husband, and our 13-month-old son. We spent our days fishing off the dock and soaking in the beautiful views. Angela was incredibly welcoming and always just a quick text away. It truly was the perfect spot for our little family getaway—10/10 would recommend again and again!
