We always come back to Shipley Landing when we need the respite from the crazy world outside. From the hug of the beautiful old oaks to the million dollar views of the tidal creek at all different times of the day make it the wonderful place that it is. Expansive deck and plenty of seating outside or a wall to wall glassed in sunroom — that’s the only decision to make. Just breathe deeply and let it all go!

We have now stayed here two years in a row. We have an annual fishing trip that this place works perfectly. It is everything that is distributed and then some. What a beautiful place to watch a sunrise and sunset. Johnna is always very responsive and super helpful. What a great host. We will be back to get some more relaxation in.

This house is beautiful!! I stayed by myself for my birthday trip and it was 100% worth it. Amazing views, and honestly after staying here I would consider moving to morehead! I love the area, everything is so close, and the beach is right there!! I went to the aquarium and a couple of stores around there. Also went to the oyster bar for oysters of course, my favorite!! All around good trip, I will say the road to get to the house is FULL of potholes, I thought I was in the wrong place at first. Just keep following the road and it’s right there, just beware of the invisible speed bumps haha. Also the shower in the hallway the door doesn’t stay shut so just a heads up, it kept bothering me so I just used the other shower.. but Thankyou so much for letting me stay, you will proably be seeing me again this year!!

Jessie’s place was absolutely amazing. Extremely clean and very well appointed. We loved the pool and it was a very short walk to the beach. The location is very close to restaurants and public beach’s as well. The only issue was that our vacation was cut short by tropical storm Debbie. Can’t wait to rent with Jessie again in the future.

There is no way to describe how great our stay was. We were only in the area for a short time and regret that we couldn’t stay longer. The property and the accommodations were perfect but the host Mathew really sets this place apart from anything else you will find. Communication was clear and timely. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our time there. The small details that make a memorable stay were spot on. We were on a strange schedule and he was super easy to work with. This property and the amenities are something that you are not going to run across very often. It is very cool that Mathew is willing to share this awesome place with guests. This was our first Airbnb, we have used Vrbo a lot all over the southeast to stay on the water at fishing tournaments and we have stayed in some amazing places and met some great hosts but this little spot is a one of a kind.

RiverRun is beautifully maintained, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking meals and lots of little extras you typically would not see at an Airbnb. The home was very clean, check in a breeze, and Michelle was welcoming and very responsive throughout our stay. While the home inside was great (master shower was amazing), we spent much of our time outdoors enjoying the fire pit, fishing off the dock, kayaking, and taking in the gorgeous views. We look forward to visiting again in the future!!
