The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Very quiet setting near the Merle, Baye and Vaux ponds as well as the Canal du Nivernais and the Morvan Regional Park where all kinds of activities are available to you such as fishing, water sports, swimming, hiking or biking. The proximity of the Pond means we do not recommend this rental for families with young children. Please note, we do not provide linens (sheets, towels...).

Welkom op onze comfortabele en luxe boerenhoeve in het hart van Frankrijk, omgetoverd tot sfeervolle en luxe vakantiehuizen. Op een fantastische plek op de zuidflanken van de Morvan, waar de Bourgogne op zijn mooist is. Je boekt 1 van onze mooiste gites, a 75m2, geschikt voor 4-5 personen. Met houtkachel, keuken, terras, badkamer en prachtig uitzicht over de vallei. Een ruim zwembad ter beschikking en voldoende ruimte.

On a private property of more than 3 ha, including our house and a small stable, the 35 m2 cottage is directly on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water and can accommodate up to 4 people. It consists of a shower room, an equipped kitchen, a living room, a bedroom with a queen size bed and a mezzanine with two 90 beds. You will have a huge garden area by the water and a wood stove for cooler evenings.
