This place is actually beautiful really a home from home place. We stayed at Birch lodge which was so warm and welcoming. Your surrounded by the sounds of nature day and night, which is very peaceful and serene. The hot tub is an added touch, where you can gaze at the stars whilst the bubbles surround you. I really valued the privacy of each lodge, which backs onto a nice green area at the back. Ian was most accmodating, awnsering any questions we had, but they made sure they answered most questions through the instructions that was left for us. Thoughtful. Sad to be leaving but Upthorpe Lodges will deffo see us again, when we want to escape the hustle and bustle of London, and connect with nature.

Lovely cabins, very well-equipped with everything needed for cooking. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the view of the pond was simply beautiful. We felt instantly at ease and were amazed by how clean and cozy everything was, truly better than expected. Mark was so friendly and caring, offering genuine warmth and hospitality that made our stay even more special. The place is even more beautiful than the pictures show. It's an ideal location for anyone wanting to explore the area or simply relax. A hidden gem—I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway. I honestly can’t wait to return!

We recently stayed over Christmas to visit family and we had a great time - even a Christmas Tree - thanks Cheryl and Stuart - much appreciated. Everything was as we expected from the photos. The communication with Cheryl and Stuart was really good and a key safe to let ourselves in was easy. The place is spotless, modern and quiet. The beds are really comfortable. Despite the cold outside it was warm inside - a thermostat allows you to change the temperature if you need to. We would highly recommend this Airbnb - close to many places in Norfolk and the coast. Would definitely return when next in Norfolk.

We’ve just returned from a 2 night stay at green valley farm, renting all 4 cottages for new years celebrations. We had a great time! The cottages are decorated beautifully and felt really cosy, with all of the utensils/appliances you could need! We also loved the little touch of a welcome basket and a dog essentials basket too! I would 100% recommend Rebecca and Green valley farm and would definitely book again Thankyou so much! ♥️

Sitting in the hot tub as the sunset was a particular highlight! We did a couple of lovely walks through the surrounding countryside & along the river and had a good lunch at The Sun Inn Dedham. Wanted a couple of days away in a peaceful and tranquil setting and found exactly what I needed in Lisa's stunning cottage and location! The place is truly magical with an amazing garden, plenty of fields and just pure nature surrounding you whilst you enjoy this gorgeous cottage. Lisa was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble...not even when I had a little difficulty in finding the place...she came to meet me! The cottage was very clean and tidy (something I value greatly), it was very peaceful indeed and as an extra bonus I was able to sit outside (morning and evening) enjoying a meal, a drink etc. in the sunshine as the weather was just perfect for the duration of my stay. Lots of wonderful little gestures left by Lisa inside the cottage made it extra special, and the cottage contained everything I needed. The cottage's location provided a perfect base for exploration of both local sites as well as locations of interest further afield. Elsa R

My stay at Kingfisher Lodge was the perfect weekend escape for me and my little staffy Freya, the properties garden is wonderful, great fun to explore and a perfect suntrap to indulge in a good book! The accommodation was clean and cosy with everything needed to relax and feel at home, with added goodies including bread, butter, eggs, jam, milk, tea, coffee, a fruit bowl and wine/beer. I slept great, the mattress was super comfy and the location is peaceful and quiet whilst being 10 mins drive from the lovely town of Bury St Edmonds and a 2 min walk from Norton Park which is a must if you're staying with a dog, it's a lovely walk with woods, a river and even a maze to enjoy. The host was friendly and accommodating and made our stay the best it could be, as did his lovely little dog Georgia. Would happily revisit. 5 stars all round.
