Ideally situated to explore West Sussex we are close to Petworth, Parham House, Arundel and the South Downs National Park. Bright and spacious ground floor double bedroom, beautifully decorated with en-suite shower room & private access leading onto the patio & secluded shared family garden. Part of a converted Victorian School which is now a family home. Tea and coffee making facilities provided, kettle, toaster and fridge. The house is a 5 minute walk into Billingshurst, a pretty village at the heart of beautiful West Sussex, with great pubs, cafes, supermarket and shops.

The Annex

The Annex is attached to our home and has its own private entrance and shared back garden. There is a separate shower and toilet. The kitchenette has a fridge ,2 plate induction hob and a combination microwave . It is situated with in a mile from Horsham main train station. Gatwick airport is 20 min train ride .London Victoria is 1 hour 10 by train. Horsham is a picturesque town with lots to do. It has a farmers market, plenty of shops and restaurants.

We loved our stay at Chris’ place. The location is perfect for exploring the Sussex countryside (Petworth, Ridgeview etc all nearby). The house was clean and well equipped, and Chris was communicative throughout. Highly recommend for a relaxing escape from the grind with friends or family - with the added bonus of a village pub in spitting distance!

Very comfortable house with good amenities, easy to reach with good transport links, and quiet. We imagine the little garden would be pleasant to use if the weather allowed (we were visiting family nearby for christmas). Would certainly recommend this property.

visited as a family with two young kids. the place itself is finished to a very high standard, and has everything you might need for a country side visit. The surroundings are stunning to walk around and enjoy nature walks. also lots of activities within 20 mins driving, a car is absolutely required for this stay. Sarah the host, was very responsive and had great tips, we were also greeted with a couple of cinnamon rolls and a few things in the fridge, very welcome after the drive from London. Overall, we as a family thoroughly enjoyed our time, we spent a good amount of time enjoying the house and family time together, and went on numerous adventures in the nearby country side. Already planning next summers visit.
