House vacation rentals in Issirac

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Great house for a family vacation! The house has all facilities you need and is located conveniently close to Suze-La-Rousse (small village with some nice shops and restaurant).

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la magnanerie du Monteil. Le lieu est calme et charmant. Nous avons pu bénéficier des nombreux conseils de Lydie sur les activités (randonnées, canoë, baignades dans les rivières, visites de villages de charme, déjeuner dans de bons restaurants). Un séjour parfait !

Wir waren mit 6 Erwachsenen und 3 Kleinkindern zwischen 18 Monaten und 4 Jahren zu Gast. Das Haus bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Von einer gut ausgestatteten Küche mit mehr als genug Geschirr und Besteck über Essbereich im Haus wie außerhalb, einer gemütlichen Lounge-Ecke, einem tollen Pool mit genügend Liegen, einem großen Außenbereich mit Spielmöglichkeiten incl. Tischtennisplatte und Trampolin war alles da. Die Kinder hatten mindestens so viel Spaß wie wir. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen 😊. Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist ein Besuch in Goudargues. Mittwoch ist dort Markt.

Absolutely loved this place. You want the south of France in a nutshell? This is it. The gite was spacious, squeaky clean, fully equipped and the beds were so incredibly comfortable. The gite and surrounding buildings were full of character and soul. Jean Claude and Sophie have put so much love into their home and it was a privilege to share it with them. Jean Claude was a true delight. Such a warm and kind gentleman who couldn't do enough for you. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful with lots to see and do. Jean Claude's recommended some wonderful local places to visit too. We would not hesitate to recommend or come again. Thank you for a great stay.

Le logement de Pierre et Sarah est exceptionnel en tous points. Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire, accueillis avec attention et simplicité. Nous avons hâte de revenir Victoria, Fabrice, Louisa et Manon

It was an excellent pre summer break, with everything what it takes - the sun, the sweeping pool, pétanque! Amazing surroundings - to walk, cycle or drive. Lots of options for the outside dining, but also great to cook at home and enjoy the quiet and intimate home atmosphere! We will be glad to get back once again in future!

On a choisi ce logement pour nous reposer et profiter des activités et balades alentour et on a été pleinement satisfaits de notre séjour. Le logement est très propre, bien équipé, avec tout le nécessaire. Kristel nous a très bien accueillis, à l'heure qui nous convenait. Si l'occasion se présente, nous n'hésiterons pas à retourner dans ce logement.

Every little thing was perfection! The space was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Located on a country road, it was quiet and private. . Lovely farmhouse with antique details, yet modern and light. Jessie and Andy are superb hosts and responded to all questions and requests quickly. Such a lovely family with the 2 girls and two pups—fell completely in love with Tya, an English Springer Spaniel. Great location to visit all the sweet towns and villages of Provence. Would go back in a New York minute!

Nous venons de passer 15 jours et le beau temps était au rendez-vous, pour celles et ceux qui recherchent le calme et la quiétude c'est le lieu idéal ! Christine et Philippe sont accueillants, chaleureux, disponibles et soucieux du bien-être de leurs hôtes. Ils ont été de bons conseils pour les sites à visiter, à la fois dans le Gard et dans l'Ardèche qui est à peine à 10 km Nombreux lieux à visiter notamment le pont du Gard, le Pont d'Arc et les gorges de l'Ardèche en canoé, la grotte de l'Aven Orgnac, les cascades du Sautadet, les arènes de Nîmes ....) La maison est bien équipée et les commerces de proximité se trouvent à Barjac à 3km Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Das wunderschöne Steinhaus in Labastide mit seinen lavendelfarbenen Fensterläden hat uns auf den ersten Blick gefallen. Dank der drei Sitzmöglichkeiten davor, kann man abends mit der Sonne wandern und vom Apéro bis zum Dessert draussen sitzen…. Es ist geschmackvoll und originell eingerichtet und nicht überladen. In der Küche gibt es alles, was man braucht und man kann dort sehr gut kochen. Dies auch dank der hervorragenden Märkte in der Umgebung. Wir haben dank der ausgezeichneten Matratzen super geschlafen und die Strasse vor dem Haus ist kein Thema, so wenig Autos, wie da kursieren. Die Gegend um Labastide ist hoch attraktiv und wir waren täglich schwimmen, haben die umliegenden Dörfer erkundet und waren in den Grotten. Alles sehr empfehlenswert. Danke Lina, für die aufmerksame Gastfreundschaft. Wir werden wieder kommen!

Excellent séjour chez Diane, avec un logement de grandes qualités, la literie parfaite et une décoration canon. Table et transats disponibles à l’extérieur de façon privative . Emplacement idéal pour tourner dans la Drôme à cinq minutes de Nyons.

An amazing stay! We loved Corrine and Alain from the second they greeted us in their driveway. So warm and hospitable and full of positive energy! Prior to our arrival, a restaurant reservation was made for our convenience and we were personally dropped off and picked up at the restaurant by our hosts to make it easy to relax on our first nights stay. The house was impeccable and had every amenity. The grounds were very peaceful and we enjoyed time at the pool. Our favorite night was spent enjoying apertive time with our hosts under their lovely pergola. And did I mention the fresh pastries delivered to our door in the morning? Such a great experience. We loved the whole valley! We will be back! Angie and Wade Miller

We had a such a peaceful, restorative stay at Lina and Petra’s Airbnb. Lina communicated with us and she was extremely helpful, even booked us dinner at the restaurant which was very helpful because we have very limited grasp on the French language. The accommodation is so so beautiful. We loved the little balcony with the wisteria growing all over. It was pure magic. The bed was very comfortable and big! The kitchen was perfect to make own food at our stay. Le Pont d'Arc was only 15-18mins drive. We went about 11:30 and the first carpark was full. So we went the next day at 8:30am and had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend get there early. We also went to another swimming spot, Plage de galets which was lovely too. (We like the first area, in the shade) we also did the Château Des Roure (Tower tour) in Labastide-de-Virac which was fun. The town is peaceful and stunning to walk around. I highly recommend staying in this Airbnb for comfort, beauty & accessibility to the region

Une parfaite petite maison pour s’évader ! Idéalement bien placée dans les Cévennes, hyper calme, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et bien équipée. Avec en sus piscine et belle piste de pétanque … Et des hôtes disponibles, réactifs et très sympathiques !

Wat een fantastische week hebben we gehad met 14 volwassenen! We waren er met onze familie en het huis bood echt alle ruimte om samen te genieten en je af en toe even terug te trekken. Het is ruim, stijlvol en supercomfortabel, met fijne slaapkamers, genoeg badkamers en gezellige hoekjes om samen te zitten. De buitenkeuken was ons favoriete plekje: koken, eten en borrelen in de avondzon. De omgeving is prachtig. We gingen kanoën, bezochten wijngaarden en grotten, maar eerlijk is eerlijk, het zwembad was zo lekker dat we vaak gewoon thuis bleven. En met een tafeltennistafel en jeu de boules baan hoef je je echt geen moment te vervelen. Eric en Yasmina zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij en staan altijd klaar om te helpen. Francois, de eigenaar, is hartelijk en zorgt dat je je meteen welkom voelt. Alles klopte aan deze plek. Wij zouden zonder twijfel nog een keer terugkomen!

Stéphane est un hôte très accueillant qui nous a été de bons conseils pour les visites et restaurants. Il s'est montré disponible pour répondre à nos attentes. Le logement est vraiment super pour 12 personnes.Quant au coin piscine avec sa cuisine d'été c'est un atout de plus pour cette location. Nous avons pu largement en profiter grâce au beau temps. Nous conseillons ce logement,à proximité de nombreux lieux de visites: Aiguèze,Vallon Pont d'Arc,les grottes de Saint Marcel,le musée de la lavande...

C’était super !!! Merci beaucoup notre week-end étais parfait grâce à Frederic, logement incroyable beau et propre rien à dire !!

Ce séjour à été un vrai bonheur, de notre accueil par Sylvain à notre départ, accompagnée par la maman de Sylvain ; des personnes solaires qui donnent envie de revenir ! La maison centralise tout le nécessaire à un séjour en toute quiétude : piscine, transats, jaccuzi, table de ping-pong, pétanque, literie hyper confortable et propice à un bon sommeil, pour résumé, on y est merveilleusement bien. La maison, tout en étant à quelques minutes de Barjac se trouve isolée de toute nuisances sonores ou autres, on écoute juste les petits oiseaux qui bercent nos siestes. Bref, on n'a qu'une hâte : revenir l'année prochaine, mais pour un séjour plus long : tant de jolies villages et activités à proximité ! Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés et sans hésitation : vous reviendrez conquis. Merci encore à Sylvain, à sa maman, et à notre hôte Michel pour ce lieu pensée pour le bien être de tous.

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.
