The nest

Once called Arbec, our small stone shepherd's hut served as a kitchen and dining room. It was there that the milk was transformed into cheese and bush, where the family gathered for the evening vigil with the neighbors ,and where social life was tied up.Tools,seeds, harvests ,were also stored in the arbec. The stones of this small building are full of history and the thickness of its walls offers a sense of protection, peace, conducive to rest.

Right in the center of Auron, 30 seconds walk from the central square, cable car, shops, swimming pool and cinema. The accommodation is close to the village square with all its amenities (bakery, supermarket, bar, kindergarten, tourist office...) and a 5-minute walk to the Pinatelle ski lift (connecting to the Auron ski area) and the lake. On the edge of Mercantour Park, St Etienne-de-Tinée offers many hikes from the village and surroundings. A 10-minute drive is enough to reach Auron resort and its many activities.
