Chill at the cosy Fisherman's Cottage by the Sea

While away leisurely evenings on the intimate deck with rustic wooden benches at a tranquil cottage in popular Island Wall. Pared-back neutral decor and subtle coastal accents blend with the period features, from barn-style doors, hardwood floors and a wood burner for those cosy nights in. (Please let me know in advance if you want logs ordered) Modern features to compliment, super fast broadband, smart TVs, nest heating. Please note for those with mobility issues these fisherman cottages have steeper stairs than normal and the only bathroom (no shower) is off one of the bedrooms . Our cosy fishermans cottage has everything you will need for a chilled and relaxing stay by the beach. You will enter the cottage through the barn style front door that lead into a small hallway with a fairly steep staircase ( normal for these types of properties) to the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs? The sitting room to the front of the cottage have deep comfortable sofas (separate bed for your dog if required) for watching SKYQ tv or listening to music on the Roberts radio. The cottage is warm and there is a log burner that can be used on a chilly days. The separate dining room has a wooden table that seats 6 people. The large cupboards house crockery and cutlery and the cupboard under the stairs has lounging chairs for the beach. The well equipped kitchen houses a large fridge freezer, oven, hob and microwave, washing machine and dryer and a barn style door that leads out to a private walled decking area with seating. Complimentary tea and coffee will be provided. There are 2 large double bedrooms with comfortable brass beds in each room. All windows have modern shutters that block out any light for lie-ins. All fresh white linen and a choice of pillows in either feather, foam or tempura. One bedroom has a wardrobe with hangers and space for cases and both have bedside cabinets and lighting. The second bedroom leads into the bathroom with a roll top bath and shower . Towels, toilet paper, shower gel and lotion are all provided. Please feel free to use this cottage as though it is your home. If you use or break anything please replace it and kindly let me know. If there are any problems, please do hesitate to contact me. Amanda ( phone number hidden) Trevor ( phone number hidden) This quaint escape is a stone's throw from the beach and the local pubs, award-winning restaurants, and quirky shops. The famous Windys is 30 seconds from the front door, serving breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. Watch the sunset every evening whilst sipping a cocktails outside the Neptune pub which is directly on the beach . The harbour with its fabulous restaurants and local arts and crafts is less than a 10 minute walk along the beach. Noise can travel between these fishermans cottages, so please be mindful of your neighbours especially when out in the garden.

A lovely, character filled one-bed garden flat located on a quiet street off Lewes Road, a 5-10 min walk from vibrant North Laine. A lovely spacious front room, and front and back gardens for catching some sun. Please note, we have two cats that may be in the house during your stay and need some feeding (depending on how long you’re staying) - they come and go as they please and love cuddles! We also have two hens in the garden, who won't need any looking after, but may give you an egg or two

The Studio is very pretty & secluded so you feel that is nothing else around you ,it's so peacefull & quiet .when you enter inside you have a fully fitted kitchen with all amenities with washer dryer ,aside the kitchen is a lovely bathroom with a walk in shower soft towels ,toilet & basin,the living area has comfortable armchairs & a wall bed with beautifully linen & tastefully decorated white walls ,there is also a log fire which is supplied with logs for the winter.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Simon's gorgeous house. He was extremely accommodating (especially because we were a hen group, albeit not a rowdy one!) and gave clear instructions about check in. The house is really well appointed with everything you could need, and beautiful rooms with comfy beds. Simon let us check in an hour earlier and I also appreciated the midday Sunday check out time.

An amazing house which was perfect for a multi generational group. The games room and hot tub were lovely and well used by all. Gramps teaching the teens to play pool a memory to treasure. Outdoor table tennis also brilliant. Lovely space. Communication and responsiveness also brilliant. Felt sad to leave and wish we'd had longer.

We had a wonderful stay at the Summerhouse, the area is very quiet, view of the fields was very nice and peaceful and the place was beautifully presented, everything was provided such as tea, coffee, sugar, water etc.. The hot tub was lovely and secluded, the only little little minor thing I would say was the wifi connection , the TV was lagging, but we connected our hotspot which sorted out the problem. Many thanks hosts for the stay :)

The lodge was clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It was perfect for a short stay with our two young grandchildren. Heather was particularly helpful and friendly and communication with Chloe was good. I can recommend a stay here!

Great peaceful surroundings and plenty to do with kids and adults. Dover Castle, Waterside for fishing, PYO and farm shops up the road and some great pubs in the area. Lisa was very helpful from start to finish. the barn was excellent and well equipped. We are a family of 4, but we're able to entertain an additional 4 adults, 2 children and a dog for some birthday celebrations. would recommend if you want a peaceful stay with plenty of outdoor activities with the family!

Thank you Cassie for being the amazing host you are and for such a truly wonderful stay! The property was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations in every way. It was thoughtfully designed, spotlessly clean, and so peacefu (Exactly what we needed) !! We felt completely at ease and cared for throughout our time there. Every little detail contributed to such a memorable and comfortable experience. If I may share one small piece of feedback - we did notice some minor drainage issues that might be worth looking into. It certainly didn’t impact our overall enjoyment, but just something to flag which needs a bit of attention :) All in all, it was an incredible stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and well-appointed space. We hope to return again sometime soon and I really hope it's very soon as we are so not over with the stay we had. All our guests have been still talking about the wonderful time they had.

Lovely base for a stay in Deal. Easy to walk to the town. V spacious for 2 adults, 1 teen and a dog. V responsive heating and clear instructions for how everything worked. Would recommend and return in the future as v good value. We all loved the shower and v comfortable beds.

We had a great Easter weekend stay at Matt’s cottage. Perfect location with a village shop, dog friendly pub right opposite and some lovely country walks. The cottage was clean and tidy and felt really homely. Matt was an excellent host, with recommendations on where to go and very communicative to make sure everything was perfect for us.
