Vacation rentals with beach access in Ishigaki

Lovely, very comfortable location to stay. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Minami Banana! Everything about the place exceeded our expectations. The rooftop flat has a homely feel to it and had all the necessities we could have asked for. Benjamin was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. The house is located in the north part of the island with the city a 30 minute drive away. Therefore a rental car is recommended. The nature around the house was beautiful and there are a lot of great sites in the area. We visited Arakawa Falls and Ibaruma Sabichi Cave amongst other things. There are some good lunch options in the area, but for dinner we would recommend cooking at the house or going to town for dinner. If we go back to Ishigaki, we would definitely stay here again. Can 100% recommend!

The location is difficult to find, but you can see it in one shot with a smartphone. The city was also within walking distance, making it quiet and easy to spend time around.

Loved our stay! The view was amazing and we loved having our own little beach! It really feels like you’re out in the jungle and we loved being away from the main streets of Ishigaki. Couldn’t recommend more!

Wonderful little place off the beaten path— lots of space for quiet walks and close to the beach. You can see the stars very clearly from here. The host was excellent, friendly, and very easy to get into contact with. I’d stay again!

Friends. Family can relax. There is a water outside. There is a washing machine, so after playing in the water It's easy to organize. The large 24-hour mart It's very convenient because it's 100 meters away. Parking is also very comfortable. It was a good resting place for 5 nights and 6 days. I'm satisfied with 3 rooms, a large living room, and a kitchen.

Beautiful and peaceful space, located 5 minutes walking from the beach and at 30 minutes by bus from the city. Great ammenities and responsful host!

Checking in during this season (winter) offers an extremely high cost-performance ratio. The location is fantastic. It’s very close to the coast. The bus stop is just a 2-minute walk away. Considering that buses are the most convenient way to explore Ishigaki Island if you don’t rent a car, being near the bus stop is really important. The apartment has two floors: the second floor has two beds, and the first floor has a floor bed. The facilities are very complete. We had a great week here.

I was able to stay with peace of mind because they responded very politely! It was helpful that there was also a space for the children to play. I want to use it again when staying with a large group.Thank you!

What a great place! Ichiro and Yukko's house is excellent - thoughtfully designed, comfortable, pristine, with all the amenities you might need. The bathroom is great, beds are comfortable, and wifi is good. They responded quickly to my questions and very thoughtfully came round with a cooler so we could picnic at the beach. The neighbourhood is very peaceful. It has nice views and a beautiful "semi-private" beach down a jungle path. I recommend doing a night walk to the beach (with appropriate footwear and clothes) so you can see coconut crabs, and amazing jungle insects, frogs, lizards, and birds. There is a new beer garden just one block of houses away with an infinity pool and great food, which I highly recommend. Ichiro and Yukko's recommendations were also great, we enjoyed the Tonkatsu restaurant and Tommy's bakery.

Fantastic place! Peaceful, elegant, very close to beach. Highly recommend. The host is excellent, took care of everything and beyond. Don’t miss this place. We enjoyed it and we were sorry to leave. PS: I think that it’s the best to rent a car to stay there.

Despite the sudden reservation the day before, they were kind and I had a peaceful stay.The room was clean and the interior and house itself used a lot of natural materials, making it cozy and pleasant for the three days I stayed.The host provided easy-to-understand information about nearby shops, and I was able to get around by renting a bicycle and enjoyed communicating with the locals.

Very nice and quiet place. Bit far from the port area so it might be inconvenient without a car. The apartment has windows on all sides so it's very bright and airy. Very close to the sea, good for seeing the sunrise

The property was very cosy, in a great location right next to the beach in a quiet village. Everything in the property was well thought through, super clean and comfortable. Takamichi was a great host, helpful and made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Takamichi is also a local guide and took us on a great jungle trek to some waterfalls, highly recommend!

This is the most memorable Airbnb stay I've ever had. Nagasawa-san accommodated me very last minute and was an exceptional host. I've studied Japanese so we mostly spoke in Japanese the whole time, which was really special for me. He knows everything about Iriomote and is a proactive member of his community, working to restore and sustain Iriomote culture. He took me on a tour of his village and shared so many interesting stories. He also guides hikes, and I joined him on one of his hikes where he also taught us many things about the nature on the island. We talked over a wonderful vegan meal on the last night, and he picked me up from / dropped me off at the nearby Hoshidate bus stop so I was able to travel Iriomote without a car. The space, mere steps away from a beautiful, calm beach, is pristine and I was able to cook for myself in the kitchen. I'm incredibly grateful to him and truly hope to return!
