An excellent place to stay in Isafjordur - centrally located and great to stay for a couple of nights on a trip round the Westfjords. The bathroom was lovely (heated floors made for quick drying in the wet room!), and kitchen had everything you needed for a short stay (although note kettle, hob, etc are stored in a drawer, which had me puzzled when hunting for them initially 😂) Halldor was a fantastic host, very friendly, helpful and let us know when the northern lights started on our second night (and invited us up onto his decking to watch) - perfect! Would highly recommend 😊

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage in the Westfjords! Waking up to breathtaking views of the fjord was incredible, and being greeted by the sweetest dog at the door was such a charming touch. The cottage was warm and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. To top it all off, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights during our stay! An unforgettable experience – highly recommend this place!

Staying here was the highlight of my trip to Iceland, and I definitely hope to come back in the future. The setting is spectacular and so peaceful, and the cottage is clean, quiet, and private.

We had a wonderful stay at Hayats home. They welcomed us like family and opened up they’re home to us. They have a beautiful view of the mountains and fjord from the dining table. They gave us lots of great recommendations of restaurants and other places to visit. We would definitely recommend her place.

Awesome place to stay for a couple, cottage 3 was homey, warm and comfortable. Great views, cooked basic meals for 2 nights on the 2 burner hot plate, fely like having your own private summer cottage. Impressed with the workmanship of the cottage. Greeted each morning on the porch by their friendly dog to start the day :)

Ingi and Snorri have a wonderful home that we stayed at. Orivate and peaceful, a perfect place to catch the Aurora and even Artic fox sightings. Ingri was great in communicating with us and reason to reauests.

Nice little fisher cottage with ocean view and stunning sunrises and view of the mountains. ❤️ loved it and used it as a base for the Fossavatngangan loppet
