Located in a beautiful historic neighborhood, on a quiet street shaded by oak trees. Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center are only 10 minutes away. The Honda Center and Anaheim Stadium 5 minutes. The beaches are an easy 20 minute drive. Excellent restaurants and shopping are abundant. Close to Old Town Orange, Chapman University, and the Santa Artists Village.
“A perfect simple place for two. If you need a full kitchen though this isnt the place for you. I stopped here in between coming home to SD from LA and its in a great location, felt safe and quite, and near so many places to eat. The hosts are very nice and super responsive.”
This 557 square foot separate guest house has its own entry and its own bathroom it is a great centrally located place. The guest house opens again July 1st and is underwent a big renovation with new paint, ceiling fans, rug, drapes, and some new and vintage furnishings. I am super excited about this, as the house has been the same since 2012. I just uploaded photos and am thrilled to share this new renovation with our guests! I saved up money for years to do this and know you will love the renovation! The guest house will always have a romantic, retro, vintage feel to it. You will enjoy the beautiful ambiance with dimmers on all the lighting. The studio is very large. The price for our listing is set by Airbnb each day, and it is the lowest price for our listing for each date. We live just minutes from Disneyland and the convention center. Beaches are only 20 minutes away and many parks and activities are found in the historic area we live in. We live just 15 minutes from Chapman University. I take great pride in our listing and have been so thankful for the many wonderful guests I have met from all over the world. Airbnb truly restores your faith in amazing people from all over the world! It is truly a gift to be able to share our home with so many gracious guests. We look forward to sharing our home with you and bringing you the very best in which our area has to offer. Features include a little mini kitchen with a small microwave and new refrigerator with freezer, toaster, coffee maker, and electric water kettle. This is for small meals and simple food prep. This is not a full size kitchen. Our pool and backyard are shared with the front house. The pool is the focal point in the back yard and is not enclosed. The pool is not heated and is always warm during our summer months to enjoy. We wish we could heat the pool, but in California only rock stars have heated pools:) Although we had a guest from Vancouver that swam everyday even in the month of January. Our spa is available to rent at 10 dollars an hour from gas turn on to turn off. Please let us know if you would like the spa and how many hours? Minimum 2 hours. Since it takes about 30 to 40 min to heat up. It’s 8 feet across so its a very large spa. We both have a long history in Southern California and enjoying sharing our local favorite spots to experience. Let us know your interests and we will make sure that you have the best vacation!
“I loved my stay Katie's place. The pool, outdoor area, and outdoor shower were by far the highlights for me. The photos really don't do it justice. I also loved the decor of the inside space -- it's an eclectic mix of antique and whimsy. Plenty big and had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. Katie and Mike were incredible hosts- kind, accommodating, and easy communication and check in/out. Highly recommend!”
Located in the historic neighborhood of Brea, 25 min or 11 miles from Disneyland. Downtown Brea's "Birch Street" is an easy 5 min walk away. It has restaurants, shopping, 22 screen movie theater, Improv, grocery store and more. Two parks are also within 5 min walking distance. You will find excellent dinning in downtown Brea and downtown Fullerton,..(highly recommended) My place is great for couples, adventurers, kids, and furry friends (pets).
“We just got back and tried to book again but it’s like 5 months until an opening, so book way in advance. I mean, we want to return if that tells you anything. The yellow corkscrew slide entrance is actually behind a cabinet door in the treehouse, which is way cooler than we expected. The treehouse interior look and feel is better described as a “tiny house” and it is better quality than my home. The AC will make you cold on a 97 degree day. The tv has a zillion channels. The WiFi is lightning fast bc it has its own WiFi (BIG DEAL FOR OUR SCHOOL ZOOM). Very well insulated and not a creak or squeak anywhere. I’d call it over-engineered in a good way. Has smoke alarms and fire extinguisher, fridge and microwave. Also, the rooftop at night is simply unbeatable. My favorite part. Plan on eating your meals and having a drink up there, even on a hot day. The leaves of the trees are like a shade dome 360 degrees around and above. The privacy is better than we anticipated, whether in the yard by the fire pit, by the bathroom, in the treehouse or on the top deck. It reminded us of a tiny house air bnb we had in Portland, actually. In Brea! The park one minute away has an amazing skatepark, and is very well lit until 10pm. I could go on forever. What a gem. I thought the outhouse would be a burden but it turned out to be an amazing shower experience. We all slept really well and found the local dining options walkable and plentiful. Icing on the cake: Zeus the 13-year-old deaf yellow lab. We loved Zeus. We are still talking about Zeus. He didn’t have access to our area but we had access to him in the middle back yard and petting that sweet old dog was special. The neighbors when we were out front unloading the car or walking somewhere were so friendly and you could tell the families on this quiet dead end street were all proud homeowners. We will be back for my boys 6th birthday weekend. Until next time!!”
