We had a great time at the house. We particularly enjoyed the large and enclosed garden with hot tub and large paddling pool, all of which were fantastic for the children. Thank you for a brilliant stay and for being so responsive.

Beautiful house in a lovely setting. As you'd expect, not a lot of entertainment immediately locally outside of the house other than walks (be warned footpaths are not maintained and impassible in places) but you don't book a place like this if you want hustle and bustle. Pool, hot tub and fire pit all great. Games room is in a separate building to the main house and so wasn't used as much as perhaps otherwise could have. Hosts are great and very welcoming, but they do live right next door which might not be everyone's cup of tea. It wasn't a big issue for us and we were left to our own devices. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Hosts very accommodating if required and good communication 👍

Spacious and comfortable house for our family of 6 during a rainy February half term. The main reason to rent this place was the pool and sauna which didn’t disappoint and was great for our kids. There is a builder’s merchant right next door to the house which isn’t obvious from the photos but was not a particular problem with respect to noise etc. Lots of great walks nearby - which we will have to rediscover in the future in better weather! Thanks to Phoebe and the owners for making us feel welcome and for being available and responsive to our questions.

We had a great stay at Libby's Lodge. The place was bigger than expected and well equipped. Great walks with the dog and amazing views. Nice little pond on site which has lots of small fish (great fun for a little bend in the rod). Very peaceful and relaxing place to be. We will definitely be back.

We have just returned from a fabulous 3 night break at Turnip Cottage. Everything was perfect for our group. The cottage was spacious, homely and fully equipped. The facilities were excellent. We were a party of 5 adults and two children aged 14 and 10 and we made good use of the 2 games rooms in the courtyard. The children loved the tennis court / football / go-cart area and we all made good use of the swimming pool and gym. The owner was very friendly and helpful and directed us to a lovely private walk within the grounds. We will definitely meet our friends at the cottage again and enjoy another peacefully perfect weekend in this beautiful part of the country.

This place was fantastic. Beautiful renovation of a chapel. Our kids absolutely loved the large jacuzzi and I loved the sauna. It’s a pity we spend just the one night Would recommend highly.

I had an amazing stay — the Airbnb was exactly as shown in the pictures! Everything was clean, cozy, and just perfect. We were celebrating my birthday, and the host went above and beyond by leaving a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates for us — such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay extra special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm and memorable experience!

Beautiful clean & comfortable accommodation in gorgeous gardens. Very peaceful but lots to see & do within a short drive. Lovely bottle of wine on arrival & fresh milk for a much needed cup of tea 🙂. Emma was friendly & called in to check everything was ok but left us to ourselves although she was nearby if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend The Bothy for a relaxing stay. Thank you

Fabulous location! We were travelling from South Australia and this residence did not disappoint. Clean, spacious and beautiful scenery. Very quiet place to relax and wind down. Loved the furry residents of the house, Carrot was a character. Lovely place shared by the hosts. Definitely recommend!

Our second stay at Drake Cottage. It never lets us down, great location, friendly locals, scenic, lots to do, steeped in history. Peaceful, tranquil and great places to eat. Cottage very clean and many thoughtful touches, will return.

Had the most wonderful few days staying in this gorgeous property, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean we could quite happily have just chilled in the lovely garden but with the quaint market town of Shrewsbury a short walk along the canal path and the property ideally situated to visit the historic Iron Bridge and Ludlow (to name just a few) we ventured out to explore and weren’t disappointed. We will be back.

Lovely little place in a great location. The hosts were very accommodating, and quick with communication. Great amenities, and little touches that went a long way to make us feel at home. We definitely recommend!

Great place for us to stop and enjoy Bridgnorth before going to a family wedding. Walkable in 15/20 mins into town and to the shops. Great set up as we had my elderly parents with us. Once we got them up the stairs, there was a toilet on both levels and a little balcony to enjoy the sun. There's plenty of cooking equipment in for those that want to cater a little to save money. Lovely little get away for us and the doggy. Nice to be away from a busy road, so peaceful and quiet.

Unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of this beautiful cottage due to illness, the five star review is for the host Wendy, her instructions were clear and consise regarding entry and arrival time, directions. When I messaged her to advise we wouldn't be coming, she was very kind and understanding. If we have occasion to visit Shrewsbury again, this cottage and host will be our first choice.

Brilliant stay. Lovely cottage that had everything we needed and close to the centre of town. Really appreciated the little touches of a pint of milk in the fridge and sweets on the table!

Fantastic stay with 3 young children. Great location, was clean and welcoming. Would mention that doors inside and some light fixtures are low, so my 6 foot 2 husband hit his head quite a few times! May be worth mentioning in description. Enjoyed our stay

We loved our 3 weeks at Somerwood Farm - it is a beautiful stable conversion in a very peaceful area. Coming from Birmingham, waking to the cockerel and birdsong every morning was a delight! The views from the bedroom balcony look over Haughmond Hill which is lovely for a walk or run. The local Haughmond Pub and cycling cafe were good finds too. Shrewsbury is 12 mins away by car. Sarah is a wonderful host and has provided everything you could need, and the dogs are vey friendly. We felt at home immediately. Do not hesitate to book - you will love it!

Couldnt have found a nicer place to stay. The location was absolutely perfect for where we were going on our trips. The property was so well presented on arrival and they even put on the extra touches by adding a lovely birthday banner and bunting for my daughters birthday. The property had everything we needed for our stay and some. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay.
