Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Iron County

This stay was perfect, the home was exactly as described, with plenty of room for our group. The river view was great! Everything was clean and accessible. Our host was fantastic. Was extremely responsive(even before booking). Made sure we had everything we needed and was very polite. This is probably one of the best host(s)/stay experiences I have had in years as far as value, quality, expectation, and host communications. We look forward to many more stays here! This was our second time at Linda's amazing cabins/land. We tried the larger cabin vs. the smaller one we stayed in back in October of 2024. Both cabins were perfect! Literally nothing negative to say! We love the location and our pup loves it too! We will be back in September :)

Had a lovely stay at Brian’s cabin. The cabin was very clean and was able to comfortably host 12 guests. The beds were very comfortable. I don’t think the pictures really do it justice. The cabin is very close to river access. We enjoyed swimming, bonfire, and watching the stars on the sand bar. The entire property is magnificent for star watching. The backyard has an excellent fire pit as well. Brian provided plenty of firewood. Saw a few deer, turkey, and bald eagle. My brother in law saw a bobcat. Went kayaking twice down the river, suggest black river outfitters at horseshoe ranch. My favorite part was the quiet and soaking up the surrounding forest. Take advantage of not having WiFi- it helped us all reset. I will absolutely return to this property. Made a ton of family memories. Thanks for hosting us!

This house was perfect for our family! There are plenty of beds, plenty of space for everyone to play games and eat. We spent a lot of time down at the creek in the back. The week we spent here was a HEAT WAVE - temps over 95 for the most part, the AC units kept up WONDERFULLY and kept the house ice cold for us. We liked the beach front located on the camp grounds a lot and didn’t find it ever to be crowded. We would stay here again! Family of 11 - 3 kids under 8 and 8 adults.

Quiet peaceful stay. We were in town for a funeral so just needed a place to sleep - appreciate the quiet hours, this was definitely more comfortable than a hotel. Happily surprised to have a restaurant in the office just a short walk away for breakfast!

We had a very fun weekend at Amie's cottage! The location is excellent for easy drives to lots of beautiful areas for hiking, which is what we were looking for. There are restaurants and conveniences nearby as well. We really appreciated the opportunity to bring our dog, who had an absolute blast! The cottage is just as described. The shower is not attached to the rest of the bathroom, which was different, but worked just fine. Amie was very responsive to questions and helpful. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area!

Beautiful historic building with unique rooms. Great location to walk the grounds, tour the academy, and get your fill at Thee Abbey Kitchen. My family and I definitely plan to stay here again!!
