Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Iron County

This stay was perfect, the home was exactly as described, with plenty of room for our group. The river view was great! Everything was clean and accessible. Our host was fantastic. Was extremely responsive(even before booking). Made sure we had everything we needed and was very polite. This is probably one of the best host(s)/stay experiences I have had in years as far as value, quality, expectation, and host communications. We look forward to many more stays here! This was our second time at Linda's amazing cabins/land. We tried the larger cabin vs. the smaller one we stayed in back in October of 2024. Both cabins were perfect! Literally nothing negative to say! We love the location and our pup loves it too! We will be back in September :)

Lucy was very communicative abouts the house and activities and attractions nearby. She was very responsive. The house worked very well for our family of 5 with the three baths and two full showers. Nice deck off the back of the house with a couch, table and umbrella and gas grill. We really enjoyed the nice fire pit and big yard and my kids loved the cows right across the street!

Very beautiful lot - wide open fields and nice view. House had a lots of good amenities (cable, wifi, washer and dryer, although no dishwasher) and was good for a weekend trip with a mid sized group including a few small kids. The house itself is older and a bit wonky in places (e. g., no doors separating three bedrooms upstairs), but it was clean and comfortable. Hosts were friendly and responded quickly. Only a short drive to Johnson's shut ins (20 min) and Elephant Rocks 40 min). Would stay again!

Quiet peaceful stay. We were in town for a funeral so just needed a place to sleep - appreciate the quiet hours, this was definitely more comfortable than a hotel. Happily surprised to have a restaurant in the office just a short walk away for breakfast!

We had a very fun weekend at Amie's cottage! The location is excellent for easy drives to lots of beautiful areas for hiking, which is what we were looking for. There are restaurants and conveniences nearby as well. We really appreciated the opportunity to bring our dog, who had an absolute blast! The cottage is just as described. The shower is not attached to the rest of the bathroom, which was different, but worked just fine. Amie was very responsive to questions and helpful. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area!

Linda’s property was amazing, our first night deer walked right up to the property! Beautiful trees all around, a sense of calm and peacefulness you won’t find in the city! Would recommend for anyone trying to get away from all the lights and sounds of a town. At night there is almost no light, and all you hear are the sounds of nature. Would definitely stay again!

This was a great place for me and my friends! The best part was that the couch was big enough for all of us and we could all see the tv lol. My dog also loved the big back yard! I would definitely recommend for larger groups!

We enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I have is that it stated that it sleeps 10. I would say that it comfortably sleeps no more than 8. Other than that, everything was clean and well kept. Would stay again. Thanks again.

We had a lovely stay at Linda’s property while hiking the nearby state parks and national forest. The cabin had all we needed and was very clean. Perfect location and beautiful wooded surroundings. Very peaceful.

Scottie was a wonderful and welcoming host! He even allowed us to morel hunt his mother’s property! They had live music at the wine house both days! This is a great location with lots of natural beauty! We visited Elephant Rocks, Johnson Shut-ins and the beautiful Black River on our visit! We will visit again!

We had such a wonderful stay at the campsite. Very flexible with check in and check out, which we appreciated. Super clean. The live music on Saturday night was the best. Everyone was so friendly. It was our home away from home. We will definitely do it again

Quiet and peaceful area. Great for a weekend getaway.

We had the best weekend at Holly’s place. I celebrated a quiet, very relaxing and peaceful 40th birthday with my husband and our two dogs this weekend. The river is a short drive away, parked right on the bank and had great weather. We grilled and enjoyed a fire each night. I loved having no cell service. It’s rare to be able to fully disconnect these days and we had the best time watching movies and enjoying the space. (Great selection of movies too!) Really liked the outdoor shower house. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time. Great little place to stay although we do wish they were more descriptive about there being no WiFi as well as having three dogs on the property. We also would’ve liked to know that the shower house is located across the property. Other than that would recommend!

Ended up staying at the Clint Eastwood instead of the Merle. Good location near parks which we wanted. Super quiet. Fun place to eat in pilot’s knob and Lesterville.
