Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Inner West Council

This was by far the best airbnb experience I’ve had to date. Mamta was an exceptional host from her communication to everything else. She was super accommodating. I used her place to get ready in for my wedding day and she even had a welcome hamper for us to celebrate. The house was absolutely immaculate and even better than the photos!

We can highly recommend Melinda‘s place as it is a home from home and in a great location. Malinda did everything she could to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. She was very flexible and accommodating, which we much appreciated. The home itself is furnished to a high standard and has many homely features. We particularly enjoyed the garden as it was laid out well for us to sit around the table and chat. Everything worked well and was well thought out. The air conditioning was particularly appreciated as Sydney gets hot and humid in summer. Finally, I have to say something about the location as the Airbnb is in a fantastic spot that has a real village feel to it and is one of the nicest locations I’ve been to in Sydney. Melinda’s home was a lovely space place to spend a week and was very easy getting into town from the train station as it is just around the corner. All in all one of our best ever Airbnb stays.

Harry’s home was a great spot for our family vacation! The home comfortably held our family of 7, including 2 grandparents and 2 kids. We made good use of the fully stocked kitchen to cook breakfast each morning, as well as a few dinners. The home has great indoor & outdoor space, with a small courtyard directly off the kitchen for your morning coffee. Two bedrooms and one full bath are on each of the two floors. The home is a 15 minute walk to the Newtown train station, which will quickly take you into the heart of the city centre.

I really enjoyed my stay at this wonderful Airbnb, a great location to see everything Sydney has to offer. Very tastefully designed and holds the charm that is Camperdown/ Newtown houses. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

Really good short stay here. Lovely space at a good price, quality all around! It is a little bit smaller than expected - shower didn’t leave much room for me being quite tall, but would be fine for most. Kitchen was well equipped with some nice extras in the fridge and pantry. Beds were comfortable and living space was nice too. Only part to note would be that the middle level bedroom door does not shut properly and can only close ajar, while the top level has no door and the roof is a bit low. Something to consider if it means a lot to you but was absolutely fine for us!

Katrina is a fantastic host, awesome communication & super responsive. The house was impeccably presented inside & out, with a lovely well maintained small backyard. We felt welcomed, comfortable & really satisfied with our stay. Would book again! 👍🙏

Loved our stay here! The house was welcoming, lots of natural light, well equipped and nice and clean. Great modern bathroom. The street is nice and quiet and it was always pretty easy to find a car park nearby if not right out the front. Only a few minutes walk to the main streets and close to Woolworths and some good cafes. Our kids loved the park right across the street. Roslyn was a great host, she gave clear instructions and was very responsive.

We had a family holiday in Sydney, and we loved everything about this house! It has all of the amenity you want, great quality appliances, and a well appointed kitchen. The property has the added attraction for us of an off street car park, whilst not huge is adequate, although with the light rail into the city a 2 min walk away we barely used the car! The location of the light rail made getting to the city or the ferries so easy, and it also was only a short walk away from a great row of local shops. Highly recommended!

Minke’s place was an absolute place for sydney trip. Easy to find and conveniently located (near bus stop, train station, and groceries store). The space was immaculately clean, with every corner looking fresh and well-maintained. Laundry is available in-house making sure you’re well dressed for the day! One of the highlights was the fully equipped kitchen, complete with an oven, stove, and microwave, which made meal preparation incredibly convenient. It felt like a home away from home. For the price, it exceeded expectations in both comfort and functionality. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended!

We just stayed 5 nights with Justin and John and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of Airbnb. It’s in a lovely street and suburb - with lots of interesting buildings. Easy access to public transport. You can see the water from the back garden. Very generous hosts who left all the essentials plus lots of treats. The studio is clean and comfortable with oodles of charm. Justin and John were very kind and helpful with suggestions, recommendations and offers of assistance. We hope to return for another holiday.

I stayed at Ian's place for the weekend. The location was really convenient and the place itself was nice and cosy. I would stay in this place again :)

This is the 2nd time that I have stayed at Emma and Ben's with my dog Ruby. Centrally located to the city by light rail with local shops and park close by this exceptional clean studio ticks all the boxes

Great apartment, great host!

Easy, flexible check-in, space was as advertised with all listed amenities. Quick communication and easy to get around with bus stops very closeby and supermarkets in walking distance. Plane noise was loud due to location but quickly got used to it. Would recommend!

Gary and Cathy could not have been more accommodating, and we loved our stay here. Far from regretting not staying in the CBD, the location of the flat with its proximity to the ferry service was a benefit that gave us a much better sense of Sydney’s geography. The views from the flat are stunning and we loved watching the steady stream of boat traffic. The rooftop barbecue was also great Transportation options into Sydney were easy. In addition to the ferry, we also walked to the bus stop. The only drawback (which was known to us in advance) is that Birchgrove isn’t especially near to many shops and restaurants. However, Balmain is just 15 minutes walk away, and there are many options there. Just something to bear in mind.

This was a very comfortable apartment in a nice part of town, with more attention to small touches.

We had an enjoyable time during our stay here in Croydon in Apple’s Condo. It has been a pleasant stay, and by making our base here in the comfortable and attractively furnished property, it enabled us to see the sites of Sydney. Sydney Rail unfortunately closed the rail line for track maintenance during all of our stay, so we were unable to make use of the train services to and from the location, but we were able to make our way around by other means. Apple was prompt and informative in her communications with us, which we appreciated.

Excellent place to stay and walkable distance to everything you need for your stay

We (my partner and I) stayed in Malcolm's place for a few weeks and felt right at home! The appartment is fully equipped and stocked, so you have everything you need and more. Malcolm himself is super friendly, helpful and responsive! The building is great and has an amazing indoor and outdoor pool as well as a well equipped gym. We loved our stay there!

Penny was very helpful. The apartment was in good very confortable. Good location and having parking was great.

Incredibly lovely stay, Ryan is an awesome guy and helped me out when I locked myself out!! His place is close to the Faumos Sydney Frango chicken shop!! It’s also incredibly close to the station which is the secret to Sydney navigation!

Richard was an attentive host and provided us with prompt and clear instructions. He greeted us and guided us to parking and then showed us around the property. The property is divine. Two spacious bedrooms in a great building with a wonderful pool, spa and gym. Less than a hundred yards from the Star Casino and just a stones throw from Darling Harbor. What was really good was having a full Metro Woolworths supermarket right outside the door. Loved the whole experience. Thoroughly recommend this property and it's owners.

There are lot of restaurants nearby

We had a great stay at John’s place. It is about 3 mins walk to Mascot train station and near the airport. Lots of eateries and Woolworth is nearby. The house is cleaning and comfy, with essentials provided. John is really accommodating and helpful. Would recommend a stay here.
