Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ingleton

We came up just for a long weekend to watch the Pen-y-Ghent fell race. It was a family regroup so needed to be close to the railway. The cottage was lovely, had every we needed and everything worked. The hosts communicated everything we needed to know in good time and warmly which was much appreciated. There was plenty of information about the local amenities and had a lovely Father’s Day meal at the Bridge Inn in Tatham. The weather was a bit changeable which was a shame because I bet you can see a lot of stars without all the light pollution we get down south. It didn’t hurt the experience at all and we would definitely book again. Just need better knees to explore the locality. Thanks Alison and Simon for a lovely stay.

In het centrum van Settle, maar toch rustig gelegen. De accomodatie was brandschoon. Het bed sliep heerlijk. De cottage was gemakkelijk te vinden en lag op 5 minuten loopafstand van het station. Er is veel te zien in de omgeving. Wandelmogelijkheden zijn eigenlijk onbeperkt.

I stayed here with my two sons and nephew when we did the Yorkshire three peaks hike, it was an ideal location and the property was immaculate. Probably one of the best standards I’ve stayed at. We liked the spaciousness of the house and the fact that it was super tidy and clean. James was flexible on the checkout time which really helped us. I would definitely stay here again.

We were after a home from home, somewhere to explore various local areas. It delivered and more! Philip and Maria were excellent hosts, even informing us of the once-a-year Gaping Gill winch experience, and helping us to get tickets. This was truly above and beyond, and the highlight of our week. This beautiful cottage in it’s stunning location is perfectly placed to explore Ingleborough, and we are recommending it to our friends. The little touches like lovely toiletries, bedding and decent washing and drying facilities (great when you’re ‘all weather folk’ with kids and dog!) set this apart from other places. Would give 6 stars if we could. Definitely would love to return.

We had a wonderful stay! It was a beautiful location with stunning views across the countryside, and walking distance from a route up to the peak of Ingleborough. A short drive from other local highlights including the hills, waterfalls, rivers. The accommodation provided a perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Thanks for a fabulous week!

We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great from the start, and the home itself is absolutely beautiful, cosy, warm, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent too. Sarah, her husband, and Joey were so lovely and welcoming, and their gorgeous dog made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this stay, would love to come back!

A lovely cottage, in a great location. Had everything we needed and more. Easy instructions to get to location and for check in and check out. Visited Ingleton waterfalls trail, only half hour drive from cottage and well worth visiting, beautiful! Would definitely stay at the cottage again.

Excellent place to stay. Great location for Preston City Centre. Very clean bed,bathroom and facilities. Wi fi excellent - would definitely stay again. One thing which is not John’s fault - since getting back I’ve had 4 separate parking fines from Preston council for driving (£140 total at least!) through a ‘bus gate’ which I wasn’t aware of, the satnav just took me that way! Would be useful for a heads up when staying in the city centre!

We had a great short break at Clare and Richard’s. The flat is spotless and well equipped. We walked up Kentmere Pike, only a 20 minute drive away and enjoyed gentle evening strolls around the green. Superb information provided in the flat and hosts very responsive.

This bijpu bedsit is perfect for a single person. Peaceful and private, and with everything I needed. The bed was really comfortable, and the whole place was immaculately clean. I was really happy to see environmental measures in place. The location is perfect - spot on for accessing this part of the Lakes, with so many beautiful spots within easy driving distance. Kath's communications were clear and friendly and fast. I would recommend this accommodation and its owners without hesitation.

One of my best stays… Location is s great, 15 minutes walk to the center. Check-in instructions were very clear The apartment is well decorated with a lot of nice touch… Lovely bathroom with sunshine and a perfect shower… Gina is extraordinarily welcoming… I felt home, All those compliments were so nice and thoughtful Thanks to Gina for everything Highly recommended!

Just what we were looking for - long scenic walks in beautiful surroundings. The flat was so lovely and was comfortable with everything we needed - with wonderful views. Perfect get away.

The flat was lovely, beautifully kitted out and with some interesting lighting features! There was lots of space inside. We appreciated being able to stay a bit longer before checking out so we could have a planned zoom meeting. Thank you for being accommodating.

We absolutely loved the rooftop! Arriving to a few treats and a hand written card was a perfect start to our stay! The apartment was very clean and tidy, we highly recommend!

The Hideaway was a beautiful, peaceful and perfect setting for us to celebrate our anniversary, made all the more special by Fiona’s very warm welcome, outstanding hospitality and helpfulness, providing guests with everything you might need. One of the comfiest and largest beds we’ve ever slept in; lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen; all very clean and with many thoughtful touches throughout. Huge bonus to have many perfect spots to sit and relax in the garden and absolutely love the ‘hot chocolate hut’! Great walks from the doorstep, super path to Kirkby Lonsdale and loads of places to visit and eat. Thanks Fiona for a really lovely weekend and a beautiful and very generous welcome basket - we look forward to returning as a weekend was far too short to enjoy the area and the Hideaway!

What a lovely flat in sleepy Sedbergh! Great location and very peaceful. The flat is so comfortable with the softest carpets too. Lots of extra towels and bedding available. A very well equipped kitchen and a lovely feeling of calm as soon as we stepped inside. Everything was really well thought out and very clean. We stayed for two nights but will definitely stay again and for longer next time. Amy very kindly extended our check out time and always responded to questions quickly. I highly recommend visiting Sedbergh and staying in this stunning little flat!
