We offer a furnished convenient 1-bedroom apartment for 1-2 people south of the Thuringian Forest. Our apartment is very comfortable and also has underfloor heating and Wi-Fi. The room is suitable for relaxing, sleeping and working. It has a cozy couch for up to 2 people. The kitchen has a rustic flair with a small table and two chairs. To the bathroom belongs a new shower, sink and a toilet. In the summer-time you can also use the terrace to enjoy the sun just outside of the apartement. In summer, you can explore countless trails in the Thuringian Forest. Unwind and enjoy in surrounding traditional pubs with traditional Thuringian and Franconian cuisine. In winter, there are many cross-country ski and skating trails. You can practice your winter sports actively or just take a relaxing walk in fresh and crispy winter air. For Cross-country skiers there is a variety of difficulties available, from simple to challenging trails. For skiers and snowboarders nearby slopes also rank from simple to challenging. At ski arena Silbersattel in Steinach, only 15 minutes drive from us, you can get the kick out of winter sports, even if you are just beginner. The area further offers the residence of Coburg (Bavaria), the Upper Main-Therme Bad Staffelstein (Bavaria) and the Meiningen Theater which are all worth a visit. Since we live next door to the apartment and are very familiar with the area, we also give you information about outdoor activities and other attractions in the area. Apartment in the middle of the old town

My apartment of about 35 m² is in the middle of the old town on the first floor in a courtyard, so it is usually very quiet in the evening. Close to art and culture, restaurants and shopping. We are in the pedestrian zone, so there is no parking directly at the house, but the parking garage at Domplatz is only about 300 meters away on foot. Please understand that smoking is prohibited in the apartment. In the backyard there is a small garden where you can enjoy it in the fresh air.

The apartments are ideal for up to 4 people, 2 apartments have a second bedroom.

Our FICHTENHÄUSCHEN is located in the picturesque Schmiedefeld am Rennsteig, in the middle of the biosphere reserve Thuringian Forest. After only 1.5 km you are directly on the Rennsteig and can explore the hiking and skiing trails to your heart's content. Also on the ski slope, located right next to our apartment, you can easily spend time.
