Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ilm-Kreis

There were two of us with our dog for a week in Beatrix's accommodation and we felt super comfortable. At check-in, the family was on site and showed us everything. We were received in a very friendly and warm manner. In the accommodation we lacked nothing, everything was very clean, nicely decorated and the location is beautiful. The only criticism: We would have liked to have been prepared for the fact that 4 goats are right on the property. This took a little nerve the first two days, because our dog is very motivated to hunt and we had to show her first that the goats are not eaten. 😅 But with a lot of management, we were able to let them run freely on the beautiful property. We will definitely return! (:

The cottage is very quietly located on the outskirts of a village and ideal starting point for hiking in the surrounding area. You can hike directly into the mountains from the house. By car, many other interesting destinations in South Thuringia and North Franconia are also quickly accessible. Supermarket and butcher is in the village, discount stores and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a games room with lots of toys for the kids. The communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet any requests. We enjoyed it here. If we are in the area once again we will book the place again.

We were received in a very friendly manner and received an orientation to the accommodation. It had everything we needed for our short trip. Everything was clean and as described. We felt very comfortable. A small, cozy, winding apartment where you feel right at home.

A beautiful place to relax & explore. Upon arrival, we were greeted on the terrace by a curious, trusting fire salamander. The cottage is very cozy with a lot of love for detail and you immediately feel comfortable - everything you need is there. A big thank you to Katharina for the warm hospitality. We will be happy to come back!

Dagmar's beautiful house with wonderful views leaves nothing to be desired. The reception is tremendously warm and everything is thought of in advance. Thank you! We would love to come back and enjoy the tranquility in the Rhön with its exceptionally beautiful flower meadows.

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. The only thing missing in the description was that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best regards and thank you for the beautiful days in Thuringia.

We had a wonderful weekend at Raimund and his family's place. The house is located in a really nice village. The sauna in the garden is a highlight in addition to the charming and cozy design of the house!

I couldn’t recommend more Svenjas plece! It was amazing, the place itself very spacious. It has everything you need for. She hosted as we were at home. We visited with our little one and our dog and we fledged like at home! Definitely would come back again!! Thanks!!

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

We had booked the place for a JGA with 13 people and were totally thrilled. The pictures don't even come across in the beginning, we are huge the house and also the garden. We had more than enough space to eat, get together and sleep. Since we had a chef in the group with us, the industrial kitchen could be used optimally. Again, there was no lack of amenities and cleanliness. The area offers enough opportunities for nice day trips and also a Rewe can be reached by car in 2 minutes. It was an all-round successful weekend, absolutely recommended!

The apartment was really nice and very clean, we immediately felt comfortable there. The decor was modern and well maintained, and there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only note: It would be helpful to mention in the description that the pool can only be used in summer. Otherwise, everything was great – happy to come back!

We spent a few wonderful days in the shepherd's cart over Pentecost. The host Florian was very nice and explained everything important at check-in. The accommodation and the grounds (which you have all to yourself, by the way) are beautifully designed and invite you to relax. Unfortunately, the adjacent neighbors used the beautiful weather for their gardening, so we could enjoy the peace and quiet at the trout pond in the evening hours. Our personal highlight was the great view, where you could watch all kinds of different animals directly from the bed.

We had a lovely weekend there. The place looks like the photos, is clean and beautifully located, surrounded by fields. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Communication with the host was great, always received a quick response. The only thing we didn't like so much is that we weren't very flexible with the checkout, as it was a personal checkout and the lady had to drive there and there was a time window. However, the woman was also very nice!

Had a very nice stay. The flat is spacious and was super clean. Our son was able to crawl and play around. It is also wonderful to relax on the terrace. Even when it rains, you're dry. Beautiful surroundings too. Being able to relax here.

A cozy apartment near the racetrack. We felt right at home here and would be happy to come back! Christina is a very welcoming host!

Don’t know where to start praising the apartment: The apartment furnished very tasteful,the kitchen is perfectly equipped ,the environment is peaceful and very well maintained,it is easy to go to downtown and Toni was a great host. We had a great time in this apartment Not to forget: the parking slot is a big plus!

A very nicely developed container in a beautiful location. I bathed in the pond every day. As already mentioned, there are campsites around the small lake, which are at a pleasant distance from the accommodation. They didn't bother us much, as they were very pleasant camping guests.

We spent an extended weekend with Wilma with our dog and were super satisfied. We felt very comfortable in Wilma's special, lovingly furnished house and spent relaxed and slow days. We especially liked the proximity to nature with the dog, the surroundings are really tranquil and there are great walking paths. Wilma described everything very accurately and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back, thanks!

The weekend at Michael's was wonderful! A really charming place to stay and an extremely quiet and relaxed area! A paradise for those seeking peace! We enjoyed the days very much. We loved staying at Udo's place. We were warmly welcomed and felt immediately comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and invite you to hike. The vacation home matches the description and is very clean. We highly recommend Udo and his little cottage.

Very nice spacious accommodation, lovingly and thoughtfully furnished, cozy and quiet. Above all, the large living room with open kitchen, which had everything you need for relaxed cooking on vacation, was very inviting. In addition, the sauna for free use and a balcony with afternoon sun have rounded everything off nicely. Once you arrive, you can easily explore the surroundings on foot, you can be in the forest in a few minutes and start hiking or go towards the village and stroll through the spa park to the monastery ruins and eat ice cream in the ice cream cafe. For us with a small child, the nearby playground was also great. Bakers and shops are also within 10-15 minutes' walking distance. The hosts were extremely nice and always easily accessible. When we forgot things on departure, they were sent very nicely and straightforwardly. Thank you again for that. Overall, absolutely recommended for a few nice relaxing days in great surroundings.

Our stay was super nice, the chalet met and partly exceeded our expectations. Particularly beautiful is the quiet location and the great view from the balcony. What you should definitely know as a parent of toddlers is that there is no real blackout and the house is extremely noisy. For a short vacation, however, you can arrange it and there is no deduction for it, as it may be less important for others🌞☺️.
