Castle vacation rentals in Ille-et-Vilaine

Un ravissement du début à la fin. J'ai offert cette parenthèse enchantée à ma compagne pour son anniversaire. Nous avons tous deux été sous le charme de ce lieu enchanteur, rénové avec goût. La quiétude, la cheminée, le lit à baldaquin...nous n'avions plus envie de partir. Un grand merci à Stéphane pour ce moment passé ensemble !

This is such a lovely manor and our family truly enjoyed our week there. Stephanie was a very attentive and generous host, providing everything from fans to help cool our rooms during the heatwave to getting pool floats for our children to use, high chairs, and local cider which was refreshing and delicious. The home itself is gorgeous and spacious with comfortable beds and sofas and everything one would need in a kitchen. We enjoyed the chickens roaming around and the sweet dogs who would come by to say hello. We invited local family over for a BBQ and everyone commented on what a lovely space it was. The only feedback would be that it would be helpful to provide a guidebook of some sort when you arrive so we could figure everything out for ourselves, for example listing any necessities that guests should anticipate providing if staying more than a few days, such as bin bags, dishwashing tablets, laundry detergent, etc., although, with Stephanie living on the property as well, it wasn't a problem to ask her directly. We felt very well looked after, had a great time and would be very happy to stay here again! Merci Stephanie!

Cadre enchanteur, maison aménagée avec beaucoup de goût et hôtes très accueillants merci pour ce séjour hors du temps malgré un temps très breton!!

Jaqueline's place was perfect for my family of 5. The boys had their own space across the hall from the parents with each room having its own bathroom. The home is in the perfect location for exploring Mont Saint Michel or any of the other near by sites and cities. The home is beautiful, clean, and has all of the amenities you need for one or more nights. Jacqueline provides a great breakfast to get your day started. She also provided some great recommendations for dinners and other sites to check out if we had the time. Really great stay and we would certainly stay here again or recommend to family and friends.

Cathryn's gite is located in a lovely quiet spot in Bregtagne. It is a beautifully renovated old house with a great interior. In the living room, the large fireplace with matching stove is a real eye-catcher. The large kitchen is also lovely - although we would probably have taken a bit more space for a dining table. The second (!) bathroom upstairs is a true paradise. Sitting in the bath, you feel like a "proper lady". Too bad there is no "ladies maid" to wash your back ;-) With three beautiful bedrooms, again tastefully decorated, it's a princely residence. We also really enjoyed all the birds in the garden. And the private tour of Cathryn's studio. Highly recommended!

If you want to stay in the historic centre and don’t mind the stairs this is a great place. Well taken care of and can feel at home. Tight squeeze with four people but still works. Just note you need to park some distance away from house especially if you don’t want to pay parking charges.
