Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Ilion

If you are looking for a place that has everything you possibly need within a short walking distance and everything you need to be productive (gigabit fiber optics, PC monitors and keyboards, standing desk, etc), look no further! And if you want to see any of the touristic sites in and around Athens, the metro stop is just a short walk away. I had an urgent medical issue to treat and Yorgos really went above and beyond to help me get treated at a nearby clinic; he is an exceptionally caring person. My stay at Yorgos' apartment was one of the best, if not the best, Airbnb experiences I have had after being on this platform for over 10 years. Highly recommended.

Aggeliki by far is the best host out of all the people I have rented from on Airbnb. She is very friendly, very helpful, always keen to help. Place was amazing and she is very responsive. She also like to recommend restaurants, places to visit, etc… I was also travelling to Naxos and she was already proactive with providing me with her favourite restaurants and beaches there. Her place is also very cosy, has a great atmosphere I believe that’s because it is their own house in which the rent every now and then. In short, great host that gives me even extra motivation to come to Athens!

Arrived in evening & found entrance was at far end of road which was uphill. Taxis were on strike day we arrived after a 45 minute walk 😢. We should’ve caught the Metro. Keyless entry system worked fine. Wi-Fi worked well. Tried local restaurant the 1st evening, recommended & cheap. Apartment had all amenities except a microwave which we didn’t need. Spotlessly clean & & photos are accurate. Nice complimentary bottle of wine & water on arrival. Jacuzzi on patio was lovely. Text communication with Panagiotis was excellent & he messaged several times to ensure we were OK. Used local metro at bottom of hill which is great to get into central Athens & only €1.20 a journey. Uber is about €7. Breakfast in morning on back patio is lovely as sun rises with distant view of Acropolis. Nice to sit on front balcony at end of day watching sun set. Panagiotis was so helpful with any text communication. Would highly recommend.

Being our first time in Athens, we weren’t sure what to expect when choosing a place to stay. Chris’s apartment exceeded our expectations. The location was excellent: in a quieter neighborhood, yet still within easy walking distance of all the major sites, shopping, and dining. The unit itself is much more spacious than it appears in the photos. Having two balconies was a real bonus, we enjoyed both the morning and afternoon sun, and the view of the Acropolis is absolutely stunning! We felt right at home here and will definitely look to stay at Chris’s place on any future visits to Athens. Thank you for being such a great host!

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was spotless, well-appointed, comfortable & had all the amenities needed for our stay in Athens. Building entry is a bit dark due to missing lightbulbs, otherwise easy access. Convenient to the Victoria metro & a great restaurant (SOUVLAKI ΤΥΛΙΞΕ ΤΟ) is right there on the square. There is also a Lidl & other smaller markets within walking distance. The neighborhood just a few streets over seemed to be a cool mix of Polish & Arab folks, the latter of which were a bit harassing to me in my tshirt/leggings, touched my butt and said aggressive things to me on the street & at the fruit stand even though I was traveling with my 201cm (6'7) tall brother. I was not anticipating such an issue in Athens, so just an FYI for any women traveling alone. But this is nothing against the lodging. Otherwise we felt safe, even at night. Public transit & taxis were both very easy even for our 4am return to the airport. I would definitely stay again!

A true hidden gem. Niki’s place felt more like home than my own home. It was cozy, had everything one might need, and the view of the acropolis was stunning.

If you have a chance to stay at George and Eleni’s apartment in Athens, do it! Not only are they incredibly responsive and flexible (they held our bags when we got in super early in the morning), but the location and layout of the apartment is perfect. Most importantly the wrap-around private roof deck with direct views of the Parthenon, Montastiraki Square and the Temple of Hephaestus really is a showstopper. They left some water and sodas, which were a sweet touch. Truly an incredible place!

I had an amazing stay Stamatis was so helpful he came to meet us and went through all the places we should go to eat and things to do in detail he was very active in replying to messages and the check in was very easy it’s in a nice local area about a 30 minute walk from the centre the pool was lovely a great place to hang out after a long day of walking we really enjoyed our stay here thank you so much

Loved everything about our stay in this home. It was perfect for our family. I especially enjoyed the decor and lighting.

Eşim ve iki kızımla 3 gün kaldık, kendi evimizdeymisiz gibi rahat ettik. Cumartesi günleri pazar var, oradan alışveriş yaptık. Metroya çok yakın, yürüme mesafesinde. Hem Atina merkeze, hem de plajlara yakın olmak istiyorsanız, burası konum olarak çok başarılı.

This was a great stay for the price! A nice walk into the city center, (15 min) but the restaurants around the corner are way better than in the city center and better prices for the quality! Very local restaurants! I only wish the WiFi had been better, was very spotty

Nous avons passé un bon séjour chez Chris. Le logement est bien situé et bien aménagé. La terrasse et le jacuzzi sont un vrai plus. Chris a été disponible et réactif a nos demandes. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

We really enjoyed our stay at Iasonas's place. The location was ideal for being walking distance to local shops and restaurants as well as to the metro or a slightly longer (but very easy) walk to the main sights of Athens. The accommodation itself is as lovely as the pictures suggest, in a beautiful old building with modern touches and amenities. The highlight for my friends and I was the rooftop terrace! Iasonas was incredibly helpful and communicative. I would highly recommend!

Maria and Manolis place was wonderful. It is in an excellent location, 12 minutes from the airport. It is private , secluded and the actual property is an ecosystem dream , with many animals, plants and things to explore. Although we didn’t have time to do so ,I will upon my return. The apartment is filled with many convenience items and Manolis was very helpful with full explanations of everything on the property. They are both very friendly and excellent hosts! You must be appreciative and accepting of the nature that is on their property, including the wonderful chickens and roosters.😊

We had a wonderful stay! Too short! Absolutely loved the location! Beautifully decorated and cozy inside and out! Loved the outside patio! As others have said, it is a spiral staircase up to bedroom. A fantastic location!! Great restaurants, easy to walk everywhere! Book it!

My son and I had two nights at Constantines place. He was very approachable and we were able to leave our luggage at the apartment before checking in and once it was ready for us his cleaner kindly texted us that it was ready. Constantine gave great recommendations and we were very happy with the taxi driver he recommended, Spartacus, and also a local cafe Loukas which was excellent. It’s a nice neighbourhood, we visited the Greek War Museum and were able to walk there in under 5 minutes, it’s also close to the Metro. The apartment itself wants for nothing- it’s got all mod cons, is very comfortable, lovely balcony, blackout blinds, great decor and Constantine has thought of everything. Delighted with our stay, wish it could have been longer- but hopefully we will be back, and highly recommend!

We had a comfortable stay at this modern apartment. All the necessary amenities for a 1 week stay were available. Sophia kindly provided a welcome hamper. She responded to messages promptly.

Definitivamente recomendaria a cualquier personas quedarse en el este apartamento. Me encontre con una unidad super limpia, en un ubicación muy tranquila pero bien conectada en Atenas. La unidad es tal cual las fotos. Esta bien equipada y la comunicación fue muy buen con el anfitrión. Solo recomendaría cambiar la almohadas :)

Place was super clean and exactly like the photos. Bus and metro stops are 5 mins away, so getting around is easy. Main spots like the Acropolis and port are a bit far, but manageable. Manos was extremely helpful, gave solid local tips, and let us check in early — really appreciated that.

Location and view from property about as good as it can get. Superb. Acropolis, restaurants, bars, shops all close by. Street outside clean, well lit and buzzing but not too noisy and felt safe at all times. Apartment extremely clean and well looked after Stelios a helpful, friendly guy. He organised a taxi for us to and from the airport. Much more expensive than using public transport but quicker and safer and especially in the heat a much better way to travel.

This place was great! Centrally located, clean, and cozy! Cold AC, washer & dryer for your clothes!

Thank you so much to you both. Such a wonderful couple! You have got your Airbnb at it's best and this is a skeleton of what others should do with their apartments. From the lovely welcome from both of them on separate occasions, to my favourite warm banana & chocolate cake from the hosts. It felt safe and was 'Very' clean. They even had all the right seasoning I need for the dinners I made there, plus I found a great puzzle that I started working on for relaxing evenings. It was close to where I needed to get too, plus to the Athens huge shopping mall that I mistakenly found. Work space set up was great with good internet. I would definetly stay there again. Thank you again!! xx
