Cosy Lewes Studio

MilindRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An easy 13 mins walk from Lewes Station via Southover High St, this was a great place to chill and feel rested, and have the flexibility to do our own cooking the first night we arrived. Ruth and her husband looked after us and made us feel welcome. Recommend the 15 mins walk along Rotten Row to the town centre: you catch a glimpse of views of the south downs on your way. Looking forward to returning next month!

Peaceful flat with access to beautiful garden

MelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The garden is beautiful and very tranquil and the accommodation is very walkable from the South Downs Way - it would make a great stop off point. The accommodation was just as described with a very comfortable bed! Only one thing to note - it is in the basement of a large house and footsteps from above are audible. Only one person lives upstairs so any problems might depend on how sensitive you are to noise. Apart from this, it's a very quiet, peaceful location.

15th Century Cottage in Central Lewes

BeverleyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We only stayed for two days, which was woefully short, but had a delightful time. The cottage is characterful, well- equipped and full of charm. The location is ideal being within easy walking distance of the shops and sights of Lewes. If we had been able to extend our stay, it would have been the perfect spot to make a base for excursions farther afield. The hosts were extremely quick on replying to any query and we arrived to find assorted goodies to indulge in after our long drive. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to any prospective holidaymakers, and indeed, make come back in the future to explore more of Sussex when we have more time.

Kenningham

We booked for 1 night at Cal's place. It was perfect for what we needed. It is a compact space but has a great shower and the most comfortable bed! Very clean and nice decor. Easy to access. Cal was very friendly and responsive. I would recommend for short stays/weekend breaks. It is in a residential area but Lewes is not very big so it's not far to walk into the town centre.
