Cabin vacation rentals in Idaho City

My husband and I stayed here for a couple days and it was a wonderful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city! There is a beautiful view of the middle fork of the Payette River, especially from the second stories windows. There were quite a few people floating the river the first day we were there, but the house is so well insulated that you couldn't hear any noise from the river or street when you are inside, which made it very peaceful. The home had everything we needed to have a great stay and was very clean. The Wifi worked well enough for my husband to dial in to a couple of work calls the morning we left, which was great. The hot tub was a lot of fun because it added something else to do at the property so we could just relax without going anywhere. There were plenty of board games, a cool XBOX nook, and books to enjoy as well. I didn't open my computer the whole time we were there! We plan to book it again and bring our two kids next time. I could have just stayed in the cabin our entire time, it was so relaxing and peaceful! The king bed was so comfortable, the extra living space upstairs made us feel like we had two homes in one, and we could have spent our entire time on the back patio by the fire pit and in the Jacuzzi. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and we took several walks around the neighborhood. We had a great little find while on one of our walks; a trail at the end of the road that overlooks the river. We saw a performance at the Starlight Theater, visited a hot springs nearby, and ate at Tante Emma (an incredibly delicious German restaurant) and ordered a carryout from Longhorn which was also delicious. We could have stayed an extra day or two we enjoyed it so much, but will be back for sure!

We loved this cabin! Felt like we were in the middle of the wilderness while less than 30 min from town! Couldn’t have asked for a better setting. Everything was clean and worked as expected, though we did not try the hot tub. Loved the layout of the cabin as well.

This was just the getaway we needed. The space was unique and fun. Sara was responsive and took care of any issues right away. She made sure we were comfortable and was very accommodating. We hope to stay here again soon!

Could not have stayed in a better Airbnb!! We stayed here for a friends birthday as a little mountain getaway and it was just what we needed! The place had everything we possibly needed for our stay and more. Janie put lots of thought in her home and it shows. The house was also super clean and had so much to do. The hot tub at night was our favorite part! Beds were super comfy and the house had lots of space for us 4 adults. Janie was very responsive and always one step ahead to ensure we had the best time. If you’re in Idaho City you have to stay here!

We loved staying at Brent’s place. We were in town for a wedding and the location was perfect. Very accommodating and close to town, the market, and great restaurants. The scenery was beautiful. Brent’s place was very clean and well stocked!!

For couples in the TV, it’s a quick and easy trip, well worth the stay. It was a hidden gem, to get away from the life of the city. About 15 miles from The Springs/Idaho City. Sitting on the deck, overlooking the creek and listening to water, was very relaxing.

Great quick getaway for Father’s Day. Very close to Terrace Lakes resort for swimming. Place was clean and host was responsive and helpful.

This was an absolutely beautiful cabin for our family to have a little getaway for the weekend. Definitely recommend

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house has such a cozy, welcoming feel, and the river view is simply beautiful. This place truly brings you so much peace. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and unwind, surrounded by nature! If we had to mention one small thing, it would be that the bed wasn’t the most comfortable for us — but everything else about the stay more than made up for it. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and recharge!

Comfortable, well stocked cabin located in very peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The back deck was a haven of birdsong after a day of exploring. Inside and out, it was perfectly clean. Angie made sure we had everything we needed and made suggestions for day trips. She couldn't have been more accommodating. Tip: ask for turn by turn photos to get to the cabin the first time and you won't have any trouble finding it.

Quiet neighborhood, loved the nice big windows. Place was comfortable and open.

We enjoyed our stay at Peace and Pines Cabin! Google maps directions actually were accurate and lead us right there! The downhill approach just before the the cabin made me pause just for a second but really is easy to maneuver. House was just as pictured and described. 20 year old granddaughter and friend enjoyed the bonus room over the garage tremendously! All in all a good time was had by all! We would definitely stay again!!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Sharif’s cabin! It was absolutely beautiful inside and out, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Our host greeted us when we arrived and was more than accommodating for anything we needed, including local recommendations. We took many strolls down by the river, visited the nearby hot springs, and went horseback riding in Grandjean. Everything was perfect! We were so pleased to have found this cabin and stayed here. We didn’t want to leave!!

not only was it private and secluded, but on one of the busiest weekends of the year it was also quiet. it was a wonderful stay for my family and I.

Had an amazing stay at the cabin. The view from the back deck is beautiful, The cabin was fully stocked with anything you might find you need while up there. We had nothing but great interactions with the host. Location was perfect and definitely want to come back soon. 🙂

Awesome little cabin. We loved how nestled up it was in the mountain. We were looking for a nice peaceful getaway and we got exactly that. The wife and I stayed for a little weekend trip and would love to bring our kids back up in the future. Seemed like a perfect cabin for a couples retreat or to bring the family. Very clean inside and out and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Host was more than accommodating and made our first Airbnb experience very easy.

Just the right home for my small work crew to feel comfortable in, with all the necessities and some extra amenities. Felt more like a home than some rentals do, very functional and cozy, plenty of cookware and appliances without being cluttered. Great location along a small creek and a trail leading into downtown. Kym was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed.

Love the setting, surrounded by farm land and yes sometimes you can smell cows. I learned this year, stayed there in 2024, to cool the home down and turn off the air conditioner and keep the windows shut at night. Beautiful distance views, quiet and relaxing stay for me and my pups.

The cabin was beautiful. It was well stocked, had internet, all the streaming services, games and the baths out front were lovely! I just want to emphasize again how well stocked this cabin was. The cabin was very cute and spacious. It had a nice sitting area outside and the bathtub upstairs were wonderful. The scenery was also beautiful. We saw deer every evening and one night we even saw an elk cruise by and hang out in the grass. This is a great cabin to get out of town. The town of Crouch is very small and offers a grocery store, a few coffee, shops, some shopping and one or two restaurants. There is also a river you can go down to and swim for free.

Cozy and clean cabin that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The large fenced-in yard was great for our dog to safely enjoy some outdoor time. Check-in and check-out were smooth and straightforward. Overall, a nice and relaxing place to spend a few days.

Absolutely the perfect place to call home for our girls trip to the mountains. Tanner’s place was very secluded and private, while still being within close proximity to downtown Crouch. The inside was clean, tastefully decorated, and had all of the furnishings and amenities we needed for a terrific stay. Would definitely stay here again.
