Wonderful luxury cottage perched high on the mountain, close to everything, but with spectacular views over Akureyri and the fjord. Modern, clean and well stocked with amenities, including a hot tub and laundry. Arnor was very responsive and easy to work with, gave great suggestions for dining and activities. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

Ella and Mathias are such kind hosts! They answered all of my questions right away. And sended us all the infos we needed to find their place without any issues.😊 The apartment is even prettier than on the pictures and for us the highlite was definitely the bed because you climb up the stairs and when you look out the window at night you see the beautiful city lights. We really recommend this place!😊Everything was perfectly clean and the bathtub was a huge plus same as the washine maschine you have everything there to feel right at home.☺️ We would definitely come back!

This was one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had. The apartment was so welcoming and the special touches were so thoughtful and appreciated. From the gift basket to the personalized welcome sheet, we felt at home immediately. Everything was immaculate and the added convenience of the washer/dryer was wonderful after spending a week in an RV. Host was fabulous and very responsive. I cannot recommend this stay more highly. My only regret was not accounting for additional nights — we would have loved another night or two it was so relaxing and comfortable.

Wonderful barn in a stunning location. It was lovely and warm inside, very spacious and comfortable. Loved the decor and layout. The views were amazing. It was incredibly peaceful. We walked a short distance to see a stunning gorge and waterfall. The mountains look different every day due to changes in the weather. One morning we woke up to see a stunning white dusting of snow sparkling in the sunshine, other days there were dramatic clouds. Always it looked beautiful and so lovely to just look out the windows and see it all! Really loved staying here. It was in a very convenient location for making day trips to all the wonderful sites of the golden circle. Disa our host was very friendly and helpful. She recommended and booked the Hvammsvik Hot Springs for us with a 10% discount. That was an amazing experience. The hot springs were on the beach and had 8 pools of different temperatures plus you could have a cool dip in the ocean! We would highly recommend staying here.

Gorgeous location. Very very helpful, they even plowed some of the snow for us when we got caught in a snow storm and calmed us so much. Great assistance and quickly provided. Having an actual dryer was so great, plus lots of radiators about the house to dry also. Washer and dryer is outside (can be important during winter time). Lots of amenities in kitchen, but no dishwasher. Trash sorters not inside, may be hard to sort the compostable from not-compostable without a bag. Small inconveniences, would stay again for sure.

It was an amazing place. Super Location - we loved the view through the large windows. Very cosy cabin with very fitting furniture. Great kitchen. As a bonus an easy to use hot tub with always fresh water. An absolutely great place that we highly recommend. It’s worth staying a couple of days and not just driving through.

Beautiful location - plus we were lucky enough to see northern lights right there! Place was as described, very comfortable, easy drive to downtown Akureyri. We had a wonderful time - thank you!
