Fantastic home! It was cozy and quiet with great natural light and a beautiful balcony while being a 10 minute walk from downtown. The home and host made you feel immediately at home! I would highly recommend.

Andri was a great host and the apartment is in such a perfect location, in walking distance to anything worth doing within Reykjavik. We arrived early in the morning and he very kindly allowed us to check in early. The instructions for getting in and accessing the parking garage were very easy to follow as well The apartment itself was the perfect accomodation for our week stay in the city as well. Super clean and the location was ideal!

I can’t say enough about how great this place and host is. Excellent central location -close to bus stops, tour pick up points, restaurants, attractions and supermarket. Very tastefully decorated and stocked - modern yet warm and cosy. Heated bathroom floors are nice. (Side note - If you are sensitive to noise it’s not for you - this is a central area and has foot traffic as such.) Most importantly - Thora was an amazing and responsive host. I hurt myself and she had sourced and delivered crutches for me with 25 minutes on a Saturday night! She was very helpful with other information needed. Highly recommended for your stay.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The space was roomy but cozy, in a great location, and exactly what we needed. Check-in was smooth, and the host was super helpful throughout our stay. Great views and is a short walk to main attractions. Highly recommend

Siggi was very friendly and helpful for our trip. The car he provided was very useful and reliable. The place was quite, clean, and warm just like home.

We loved staying at Haukur's place - it was walkable to a ton of restaurants and attractions in downtown Reykjavík, but still quiet in the evenings. Check-in was very easy. Parking was also pretty easy. We used the Parka app and parked one block away from Haukur's apartment (parking in front of the apt is zone 1, but if you park one block up it's zone 2 and half the price). Overall, great location and experience. We would definitely stay here again!

We appreciated the great location, beautiful room and hospitality from the front desk staff. It was really helpful to be able to drop off our luggage early in the morning upon arrival to maximize our time in Iceland with an all day tour!

Vi har haft sådan nogle dejlige dage i Svavars lejlighed. Vi nød at lave mad i det lille hyggelige køkken og spise ved spisebordet foran det store vindue med den mest fantastiske udsigt over Reykjavik. Stuen var rigtig hyggelig og meget personligt indrettet. Charmerende med alle de grønne planter og den eventyrlige indretning. Et dejligt sted at være. Det føltes som om man passede lejlighed for sin bedste ven. En ægte air bnb oplevelse. Sengen i det lille soveværelse var komfortabel og vi synes det var en luksus at falde i søvn, mens vi kiggede ud på himlen over Reykjavik. Det lille søde badeværelse med det mintgrønne badekar havde alt vi behøvede. Svavar var kommunikerende allerede inden vi kom til Island. Han kom med fine turforslag til os. Han tog imod os i lejligheden og viste os rundt. Når vi kom hjem fra ture om aftenen, kunne vi uden problemer finde en parkeringsplads lige foran ejendommen. Det allerbedste - vi så nordlys lige op over os fra altanen. Vi vil gerne bo her igen.

Oh we absolutely loved this darling little place. Very cozy especially in winter. Felt like our own little cozy cave. Very walkable to groceries, restaurants, so close to airport and Blue Lagoon. Highly recommend for a visit to SW peninsula of Iceland.

el piso era tal cual en las fotos. el acceso, sin llave pero con todas las instrucciones para el garaje, la basura etc. el apartamento estaba ordenado y limpiamos, con todo lo necesario para 2 personas. La zona a muy tranquila, en el puerto antiguo pero cambiando a menos de 5 minutos del centro turístico. Ubicación perfecta para conocer la ciudad sin mover el coche. la comunicación con los anfitriones era rápida y ágil. Nos informaron de restaurantes, de museos, de cosas que hacer incluso un día que había alerta roja se preocuparon por avisarnos. Se ve que se preocupan por los vistantes.

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 nottii in gruppo e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Posizione super centrale, casa molto comoda e molto facile anche trovare parcheggio a pagamento vicino la struttura. L'host è stato super professionale, ci ha dato tante informazioni e consigli utili.

It is a cozy, warm, comfortable, and convenient apartment—perfect for our family of four. It was really nice to be able to relax and cook some easy dinners in this apartment after our long days exploring the areas around Reykjavik. Thanks for providing us with three good nights in your nice apartment.

Clean apartment with character. It’s a nice place to relax and it’s in a walking distance from the center and close to Bus Stop 1 that many tours have as a pickup point.

We had a wonderful time. Our children loved how comfortable they felt. We loved how close the public pool, bakery, yummy restaurants and ice cream shops were. Overall will return back to Iceland and would love to book again with Edda.

Étape très pratique juste à côté de l’aéroport de Keflavík. L’appartement est très confortable et super bien équipé, Jolanta est très accueillante et nous avait préparé le jacuzzi !

Lovely place if you are looking for some peace and quiet. It’s also a good location to see the Northern Lights - they were right above us!

Alloggio pulito ed esattamente secondo la descrizione, casa piccola ma c’è tutto quello che serve. Cristjana molto cordiale e disponibile.

Estadia foi perfeita. O apartamento é bem localizado, check-in simples e tinha no local tudo que precisávamos. O café cortesia também é um diferencial.

La mejor anfitriona que hemos tenido en nuestra estancia a Islandia, super atenta y agradable. Nos íbamos a quedar solo una noche pero nos pilló un temporal de nieve y nos permitió quedarnos una noche extra completamente gratis. A la mañana siguiente del temporal vinieron a limpiar os el camino con el tractor y nos ayudaron a sacar el coche. No podemos estar más agradecidos con el trato que nos han dado.

L’appartamento è molto accogliente, nuovo e provvisto di tutto ciò che serve, con una bella vetrata sull’oceano. La vasca interna di acqua geotermale è davvero bellissima. Per noi era un una buona posizione per la prima notte dopo essere atterrati per il nostro lungo viaggio. Silenzioso, letti comodi, di facile accesso e ottima e tempestiva la comunicazione con August.

Dom Mattiego to świetna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Reykjanesu (od geotermalnych okolic Gunnuhver, przez park krajobrazowy z jeziorem Kleifarvatn, Reykjavik, aż po gejzery czy wodospad Gullfoss). Blisko z lotniska (20 minut autem). Sam dom w spokojnej okolicy, bardzo duża przestrzeń, w tym 4 sypialnie, duża kuchnia i łazienka czyniły to, że jako 4-osobowa rodzina czuliśmy się bardzo komfortowo. Łatwy dostęp do kluczy mimo późnego przyjazdu, możliwość zostania nieco dłużej w dniu wyjazdu oraz szybkie odpowiedzi gospodarza - to także czynniki decydujące o naszej bardzo wysokiej ocenie. Jeśli miałbym polecić bazę noclegową w tej części Islandii, to Vogar i dom Mattiego polecam z czystym sumieniem. A przy okazji - powroty o ciemku (zima 2025) do domu Mattiego z naszych codziennych wypraw i zorze polarne widziane nie tylko w ciemnych miejscach w okolicach miasta Vogar, ale także spod domu - niezapomniane chwile dla nas wszystkich!
