Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This was the home that my brother and I grew up in. This house was built with love by our Mom and Dad. We hope you can feel the warmth and love we did growing up there. We are located 1 mile from Mattamuskeet Lake, about 20 mins from the Ferry in Swan Quarter that takes you to the Island of Ocracoke. We are also 20 minutes from State Boat Acesses. If you want a Beach Day,we are only 1 hour 15 mins for the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Throughly enjoyed our stay here. Hosts were extremely responsive and a pleasure to deal with. House was exactly as described and was comfortable and clean. This is an excellent Airbnb and a gem to stay at in the Bayboro area.

We rented two houses for week for a family gathering. This was our second time staying at River Dunes. The houses and location were fantastic for our week. The amenities at River Dunes are wonderful, from the pool to the kayaks, to the bikes everything was great!

The treehouse-style cottage is surrounded by lush greenery, featuring a wrap-around deck that leads to a welcoming entrance. Natural wood siding and large windows create a charming facade, while the elevated design offers a unique perspective on the surrounding landscape.

We had the absolute best day on our honeymoon here. It was so peaceful! It is close to all of our favorite restaurants. Our favorite part was the wonderful screened in porch area. We hardly left that spot when we were there! Highly recommend!
