Lake side house rentals in Hyco Lake

We had a girls weekend here and can’t wait to come back. It was so peaceful and quiet, and the surroundings are beautiful. The home is cute and has everything you need. The screened in porch was our favorite spot, we spent hours out there!

Our stay at Kristen's Lakefront Paradise was exceptional. Every aspect of our trip exceeded our expectations - making the reservation, communication with Kristen, super easy to check-in, immaculately clean, and so many touches to make the cabin perfect and cozy! The location was ideal for a relaxing getaway. Kristen suggested restaurants and other things to do in close proximity that we enjoyed. There were so many extras that made everyone in the family happy. We loved the view, deck (comfortable furniture), outdoor area, and games. No need to be concerned with toiletries and many other "extras". We absolutely plan to stay here again!

We have stayed in a LOT of Airbnbs before and this one took the cake, by far. The house had EVERYTHING you could think of. It was fully stocked - and not just with average items - but higher end items. The linens felt like a fancy hotel. The bathrooms were stocked with amenities. The kitchen had every gadget you could possibly need -- the knives were sharp, there were plenty of nice pans & pots, etc etc. It felt like someone lived there full time and was just letting us borrow it for a few days. Not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. The first couple of days of our stay were rainy - but we were perfectly content relaxing inside. The fooseball table and provided games were loved by all --- the views are spectacular. My daughter even saw an otter at the bottom of the yard in the water. This was just the perfect place for a girl's weekend to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

We use this for our pastors annual retreat and it provided plenty of room for them to gather and also spaces for them to find solitude when necessary and also provide a great community space outside which they really enjoyed

My sister and I rented the Rabbit Hole during Thanksgiving week. Our families had the best time and would love to return next Summer when we can enjoy Hyco Lake. Heather, the host, was very responsive and checked on us throughout our stay. We cooked a big Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was perfect. We had everything we needed. We loved waking up each morning to the beautiful views from every floor. The kids loved the game room and the bunkbed room. The house is beautifully decorated and quite cozy, and far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Heather and family for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Great house! If you have a big group, 2 bunkbeds on the lower level, King size bed on lower level, both share one bathroom. Queen size bed on main level with its own bathroom. Property is gorgeous, just a hair too far for me to VIR. But on a positive note got to see some great country side going back and forth. Wish it had been warmer and not rainy to hang out on the porch or take advantage of fire pit. Host was proactive with check in and out information, no issues at all....great property a little tight in the kitchen for a large group of people but we figured it out...Thank you so much for giving us a warm, dry, and clean place to stay.

My family had a wonderful time at this house! It had everything you need! We went to an event at VIR and it was a quick 15 minute drive. The house had easy access to the lake, kayak, stand up paddleboards, games, etc. The beds were very comfortable which was great after a long day fishing and paddling! The kitchen was well stocked too. I think the only thing one might need is life jackets for weights between 50-90lbs. Also make sure to bring a net to scoop up the big catfish you will catch on the dock!! We will absolutely stay at this house again on our next trip to Hyco Lake.

This place is heaven on earth. Check in was a breeze. The custom log cabin in beautifully appointed; dark wood and amazing lighting and artwork. The personal touches are so beautiful. Everything we needed was there, including in the kitchen. Spotlessly clean inside and out. Sadly I had to work remotely the entire time; internet made that happen seamlessly. The best part for us was the outside. Wraparound deck with a gorgeous view of the lake, with a charcoal grill and firepit. The floating dock was also immaculately clean and has chairs, at least one table, a "tiki bar", and even a little slide into the water for the kiddos if you go in the warm weather. I did yoga at sunrise on the dock, watching the sun come up over the river. Amazing. The hosts respected our privacy and were available for messages and responsive. I can't wait to return. Almost hate writing this review because I want it to be available next time we return. Five stars for sure. You're going to LOVE it!

this place is awesome for fisherman looking to fish all the surrounding lakes then come back and fish the pond and hang out around the firepit with family and friends..the house and property are beautiful and comfortable

A very quaint, peaceful lakeside retreat. We enjoyed staying here while visiting family in the area. Thank you for hosting us-we had a wonderful time! We especially enjoyed: - kitchen - private road for a 2 mile run - great view of the lake - morning sun in the living room is gorgeous this time of year (Fall)

Excellent peaceful stay on the lake for a family reunion

The Farm Stay studio was perfect! It was beautiful and bright and cozy, with gorgeous views of the farm and pond. The use of space was incredible with every amenity needed available. Great shower as well! Betty sent us so many ideas of places to see in the area and was a wonderful host! We hope to stay again when we return to the area.

This place was great. We enjoyed our stay through the Christmas week. Susanne was a great and helpful host. She allowed us to check in early to accommodate our needs and was very friendly the entire stay. Thank you again.

A serene, relaxing setting right on the lake. Comfortable, clean accomodations. The hostess went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible. Every detail was attended to. Would definitely go back.

I love the country feeling. I felt like it was my home away from home. I really enjoyed my stay. Marcia was very pleasant and got right back to me when i had a question. Very great host. Vary clean, nice and new feeling for the entire home

Yuan was an amazing host super accommodating with my last-minute booking after our original plans fell through. After a quick conversation, he had no problem with us bringing pets, which was a huge relief. The home was clean, in a quiet, lovely neighborhood, and bonus there’s a pool! Highly recommend.

I was fortunate enough to be able to book Amy’s place for Christmas and it was perfect. Large enough to have the family together with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. There isn’t one thing I would change about our stay. The house was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays. I was lucky to briefly meet Amy and had a great chat she is very friendly. We will certainly book this house again. Thanks Amy

We enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s place. When I met her at arrival she was the sweetest. The place was nice clean and spacious. We had more than enough room. It’s was worth every single dollar that I spent.

Mtende’s house was easy to find and spotless. The kitchen was well equipped with new appliances and plenty of work space. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We loved the fact that it was just a short walk to downtown Graham, as well as within walking distance to family in the area. A great choice overall!
