We really enjoyed Asa's place. It was very clean and had everything you would need: dishes, utensils, a book with detailed instructions on every major appliance in the house. Asa responded quickly to our queries and was very nice over messages, we did not see each other face to face. We would love to be back some day 🙂

The views are spectacular and the place is clean , cozy and has everything you might need , we could not have asked for more . Svana was very responsive and nice to communicate with , we felt welcomed and being taken care of every step of the way . This is our second visit to Hvammsvik Resort. Originally we stayed here 2.5 years ago and stayed at the Hilltop house and Hvammsvik was just being built into a resort. It was beautiful, and Ive already left a review for that house back then because it was one of our favourite airbnbs that we have ever stayed in. This visit we have the luxury of staying at two different houses on the property. First we stayed in the Club House. (this one was our personal fav for this trip) but only because of what we travelled to Iceland for. The house is so cozy, but large enough for a family with children, or even two families. HUGE kitchen and dining room, cozy couch and TV area. Our second house we stayed in was the Lake House (the most stunning views) This place is a bit smaller, but just as tastefully decorated, and I cannot even describe the views in such few words. Such a magical place to wake up to, surrounded by mountains and water.

Visiting Iceland for the third time, we wanted a base to explore the Snaesfellness Peninsula and the Silver Circle. This is a lovely, large, clean family home in a quiet street and perfect for what we needed. Lots of food and shopping choices nearby. Thank you Gudgeir.

A beautiful, peaceful setting, with stunning views. Kathrin and her husband let us know when the northern lights appeared one evening and helped us with the settings on our i-phone so we could take the best pictures. Very appreciative or their help. We highly recommend their quiet cottage.

A nice house, we felt right at home. There was everything we needed and the view is great! The children especially loved the dogs and played with them every day. Our hosts were always good and quick to reach when we had a concern. We'll be back!

Great location at the heart of Reykjavik. Host is very responsive, providing clear instructions ahead of check in. Parking can be challenging when driving a bigger vehicle, since it is a shared parking area. There is underground parking available if you drive a smaller cars. Overall, a good experience at the accommodations.

This flat is very comfortable (the Icelandic know how to insulate and keep warm - which we gratefully noted as we live in a draughty Victorian house!) and very well fitted and maintained. Pretty much perfect. Lloyd and Raggi were welcoming and helpful and had left a few treats in the fridge which was nice :) They left us to ourselves but were quickly responsive when we had a query. They live in the flat below and met us on arrival there which was helpful. The area is residential and quiet but very close to the central exciting bits of Reykjavik - just five mins walk. Five mins in the other direction you can get to the path around the coast and a black sand beach. So, perfect for us really as we were there for Airwaves. They told us of a local pool which we went to everyday - it was great. There's a local bakery and cafe near the pool, but there's all the stuff in town in the other direction too. Easy access to airport - use Flybus stop 1 at City Hall Much recommended.

Lena´s place is great for a couple or single traveler. The location is right next to the church but is on a side street so it was nice and quiet.

Great place! Perfect for what we needed

Cozy apartment in a great location - quiet and safe area but walkable to everything! Many cute cats next door. We had everything we needed in the apartment for the 5 of us staying there. Perfect for us to park our rental car outside the garage. The host was very kind and met up with us for a late check in, also gave us some tips.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here during our trip to Iceland! The place was spotless and exactly as described. Hodur was incredibly communicative and provided great recommendations that really enhanced our stay. The neighborhood felt very safe, quiet, and peaceful—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved that it was within walking distance to some amazing restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Iceland!

We felt very comfortable. The accommodation is simply a dream, chic and modernly furnished, everything you need is there. It was clean and we felt right at home. The view is of course a highlight, which we enjoyed every morning at breakfast. We would come back:)

Hronn and her husband were fantastic. After a red eye flight, we were hoping to check in early. After reaching out, Hronn said we could check in at 10:15am! This was AMAZING! We actually happened to meet Hronn and her husband at the door and they were lovely people. Her husband even pointed out some things with the door to the parking garage. 10/10 would stay here again.

We had a great time. Appreciated the flexible checkin/checkout with lockbox, local tips, and great communication. Cute place with everything we needed. It was just as described and worked well for our family.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! We loved the location — it was quiet, but still really close to everything — and the view of the water was beautiful !! The space itself was lovely - clean, open and airy, and had all the basic things we needed. Also— for the parents traveling with young kids— we used the crib, high chair, and was perfect for small kids. Would stay here again!

My family and I stayed here for Christmas and New Years! The location was perfect for going in and out of town to look for the northern lights and still close to the city center for shopping! Hradnildur also gave us a list of recommendations which helped us find the hidden gems!

Hurnd and Davio’s place had a modern Scandinavian flair and it came with a well equipped open kitchen which connects to a dining room where 6-8 people can dine comfortably. The living room is so cozy as well and there were unblocked view for sunrise and sunset everyday, we really enjoyed our time experiencing Icelandic nature and there are also some outdoor seatings to get some fresh air. There were the two of us staying this time and the main purpose was for work. As we had some free time we did make use of the #14 bus which is just 2 mins walk from the apartment and runs to the city center and big church. The grocery is also just 15 mins walk away. Hrund even left us a personal message and she ensured our stay was hassle free with explanation of how the trash is sorted. The toilet was really nicely designed too and you can always count on the geothermal water coming out from the tap for a nice hot shower. We would definitely stay with Hrund and Davio again in the future!

Just back from a 5 night stay in Iceland. The property is perfectly situated in Reykjavík, located only a short distance from the centre where you will find lots of great restaurants and cafes. The property itself was a real home from home and had everything you would need. We travelled with our 3 and 6 year old children who loved the bunk bed, toys and games 😊 Overall a great stay! Would highly recommend! Thanks!
