The cabin is idyllically located with stunning lake views and short access to everything Hvaler has to offer. There is an open solution between the living room and kitchen. The living room has a sofa corner in connection with the TV. There is a dining table with a total of eight seats near the fireplace. The master bedroom has air conditioning that makes it comfortable to sleep. There are several outdoor spaces around the cabin so that you can move around with the sun. The terrace facing the lake is equipped with an awning and patio heater. Rental of bed linen and towels is NOK 150/person

Søndre Sandøy is idyllically located in Ytre Hvaler National Park. Here you wake up to birdsong and have a resting heart rate all day. Crab fishing, swimming on many of the island's beautiful beaches, nice hiking trails and lunch at the island's meeting point, Café Oline are some of the activities you can do during a summer day. In winter you will only meet permanent residents and silence. The island is virtually car-free. Just as beautiful in summer as in winter. The cabin has plenty of space for two families. Three bedrooms, loft and bathroom on the 2nd floor. Large patio and garden room.

Enjoy a peaceful stay in this unique cottage on Hvaler. The small cabin is rural and simply furnished, with a kitchen area and sleeping area. Access to private toilet, outdoor shower, BBQ, outdoor fireplace & outdoor kitchen. The cabin is located right next to Haugetjern Nature Reserve and Ytre Hvaler National Park. From here there are good opportunities for outdoor activities such as swimming or paddling in nearby fjord waters, hiking and cycling. Possibility to rent a SUP, kayak and bicycle. Approx. 20 min by car to Fredrikstad city center and Skjærhalden

The cabin is beautifully located on a hill overlooking Skjærhaldens marina, skipper's house and the sea. Comfortable armchairs and evening meals with shimmering lanterns await you in this cottage idyll. Indoor evenings on soft sofa cushions invite you to fireplace and board games. Or sit at the dining table with a good cup and look at the lights from the harbor. The plot is large and undisturbed with barely visible neighboring cabins. For the children, the plot is a safe playground with fun climbing trees and mountain knolls to jump around on.

Family-friendly cabin on idyllic Hvaler

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. For your information, we have completely renovated the cabin in 2023. This means that the outdoor images that appear on the page may bear the mark of a slightly unfinished finish. There is a short distance to the beach, nice hiking areas (Helleskilen, Storesand, Ed etc.). Skjærhalden city center is 3 km away. Here you will find shops, restaurants and the possibility to rent bicycles and a sauna, among other things. There is a direct ferry to Strømstad (60 min).

Cozy cabin for family at Skjærhalden

Cozy cabin located at the innermost part of Kjølholtfeltet, a quiet and family friendly cabin area at Skjærhalden. Perfect for families with children, as it is only a short walk right down to the town beach at Skjærhalden. The cabin is very practical and everything is easily accessible, both for use and for washing. This is not a cabin for partying and is not rented to young people. No animals in the cabin, and no smoking indoors. It is NOT allowed to charge the car at the cabin, as fuses are not dimensioned for it.

Idyllic family cabin with lake view and possibilities for boat. Completely undisturbed cabin with lake view on top of a knoll - pine knoll. There is sun from morning to evening on two terraces. - Sleeps 10 (5 bedrooms incl. the living room in the annex), and with possibilities for 3 beds on a loft. - there is running water, bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine with drying function. - Space for 2-3 cars in a private parking space. - Boat (14 ft with 15 hp engine) can be included by agreement.

Cottage by the sea with a large dock

The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.

The cabin is tastefully decorated and totally renovated recently. Sun all day, lake view, large terrace, dishwasher, washing machine, shower, free WiFi, office space and TV. The plot is relatively flat and child-friendly. Nice hiking opportunities on Papper, sea idyll, untouched nature and sunny Svaberg. 6 min to bathing places. Sleeps approx. 6 people. Free parking is 300 meters / 984 ft away, but it is possible to drive 100 meters / 328 ft from the cabin with luggage.

Cozy family cabin

The cabin is peacefully located on Vellebufjellet on Vesterøy. 5 minutes to walk to the nearest beach m. The beach is shallow and very suitable for small children. Fantastic hiking areas in the immediate area. walk to Kuvauen, Guttormsvauen, Papperhavn. The cabin has nice grounds with a garden and forest around. Borrow hammocks, kayaks and paddleboards. Very suitable for a family with children. We use the cabin quite a bit ourselves. Rents on request from May-October.
