Rofyllda Blåkulla

Blåkulla is located in the middle of Föglö conveniently next to the country road. Outside the door you are greeted by lush green forest. On the other side of the house is a large lawn for all the summer outdoor activities. The house is charmingly decorated in retro style and on the mountain outside there is a terrace with food furniture and views over the lake. Outside the living room, there is also a veranda with a seating area. In the yard there is also a small cabin (without heat) with bunk bed where two people can stay overnight. These sleeping arrangements count as extra.

Outdoor shower, you heat the water yourself, outdoor toilet. Own farm, not private location, you will see us pass. Genuine country experience with no running water in. The cottage does not have a direct view, located between several buildings. Guest bed = 3 people. At Mon of Possibility: wood sauna can be rented for 10€/2h bath, bikes 10€/stay. BEDLINEN can be rented on site 9€/st, advise before!

Small overnight cabin in the archipelago (3 of 4)

This simple over-night cabin can accommodate 1-5 persons. The cabin has a 120 cm wide bunkbed and a sofabed for one person. The cabin has a small terrass and is located on a seafront property. The kitchen, toilets and showers are located in a separate service building, and are shared with other guests. Note that more than 3 guests means sharing the 120cm bunkbed (works for example for couples, or families with kids). Bring your own linen and towels or ask to rent (12€/set) from the host.

Enjoy a beautiful stay at our newly renovated house. The property offers modern amenities, with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with private sauna. The secluded balcony enjoys mid-day and evening sun, as well as a glimpse of the nearby bay. The house is located 150m from the Kökar disc golf course, a local restaurant and a good spot for birdwatching during the migration periods. If you want a complete break away from everything, enjoy an authentic island vacation in your own peace by the sea, you don't mind harsh conditions, this place is for you. You can get there by car or bike from the port of Heponiemi in Kustavi by connecting ferries M/S Aura (see Finnferries page route Iniö-Kannvik) change in Kannvik M/S Kivimo (additional route to Iniö) You must book a departure to Kivimo no later than the previous day by 16.00.

A simple accommodation perfect for overnight stays, or for a couple of nights exploring Föglö. Outhouse and limited laundry facilities but a cozy spacious cottage in the middle of a small farm with horses, chickens, and a farm dog. Close to Degerby, the central town on Föglö. Very close to Föglö church. Own sheets with! Or rent sheets for 5€ per person, payable in cash on arrival. An outdoor grill is available, bring your own charcoal, etc.

Quaint cottage with the sea as the only neighbor!

Welcome to Lunsberg! Here is life still and close to nature. Fire in the wood sauna, warm up by that fireplace and let the days go. The cottage is about 50 sqm with kitchen/living room, bedroom, a generous loft and large terrace. Maybe the best view of the plot can be found in the outhouse located just behind the cabin. Down by the sea there is a protected jetty if you want to get to Lunsberg by your own boat or just swim after the sauna.

Experience the real sense of archipelago living at our remote cabin. You will have access to your own stretch of smooth red granite beach and an uninterrupted view of the Åland wilderness. Your only neighbours will be the sound of the sea and the occasional eagles that swoop overhead from time to time. Getting to the cabin is easy by car or bike from Mariehamn.
