Lovely private place nestled in the trees. Small, but ideal for us as a couple. Nice kitchen, very comfortable bed. Access to a large swim spa, which was perfect on a chilly March day. The host, Linda, was very kind and helpful. Keep in mind that there's no wifi and the cell coverage is spotty. Not a problem if you're there to get away from it all, like we were.

We travel to Stratford every year and have done so for about 30 years. We have stayed in a variety of accommodations over the years! We prefer Air BnBs over hotels, and because we travel in a group (we were 8), this location matched our needs perfectly. We like to park the car when we arrive and not use it again until we leave (Stratford is fantastically walkable) -- no problem! We like to try different restaurants -- the location is perfect for that (and for attending theatre). We're close family, but we also like some alone time -- with four bedrooms for 8 people, this apartment offered that! The apartment was large, open and bright with basic amenities suitable for our 2 night stay. The beds were comfortable, and the shared areas were roomy enough for us to gather. The hosts were amazingly responsive -- they provided detailed and accurate info ahead of time, and quickly answered our questions.

Cozy and well-equipped, Stephanie's place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's conveniently located within walking distance to downtown, great restaurants, pubs, theatres, and tourist spots like the Shakespearean Garden and Victoria Lake/Avon River. When the toilet handle broke—making it unflushable—Stephanie responded quickly and had it fixed right away. I’d recommend this place to anyone planning a weekend getaway or looking to explore this charming city.

The weekend was phenomenal, the amenities were fantastic and well-managed. The only downsides were that it was fairly apparent that the local bylaws greatly impacted the place with some unreasonable asks. For example, they required every tenant's name, age, phone, email and home address. Per the Short-Term Rental bylaw, only the number of tenants and adults for the Short-Term Rental are required. Outside of these couple of inconveniences, we had a great time and would definitely be back.

Spectacular sunsets, beachfront 4 bedroom cottage

We had the most wonderful visit at Dewey's cottage. When we entered the house, we were greeted with the fresh smell of a clean house! There were 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and two in the basement. We were two families, so this set up was perfect, as it allowed each family to have some privacy. The pool, big yard and trampoline were all a hit with our kids. The kitchen was stocked with lots of cutlery, plates, cooking items and basic condiments. The beach was within walking distance - and the view of the lake could be seen from the house which was breathtaking. We absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend!

Kintail Cottage - Knotty Pines

Our families had a great stay here - my sister and I rent a place every summer. Our families loved their time on the best lake, and enjoyed both the pool and hot tub. We made all our meals here in the full kitchen and sat a tables with a lake view. The sunsets and beach fires were memorable. The place was large and comfortable. Highly recommend staying with Katherine and Peter, they were highly responsive and have a great property.

An inground pool is surrounded by greenery, including tall hedges and lush plants. Two lounge chairs are positioned on the patio, inviting relaxation. A shed and fencing provide privacy to the backyard space, which is gently illuminated by natural light.

Stunning Heritage Home with pool

We booked Tracie's place for a family vacation and had SUCH a wonderful time! The house itself is beautiful, and has such great character. The kitchen has everything you need. The fridge is great, with lots of space. We also enjoyed the gas stove and BBQ! The yard, with a trampoline and swings, was so great for our kiddos. The pool was the best too. Really, I can't say enough good things about this place. The location to the waterfront and also downtown is awesome. We loved our visit! When can we go back?!

Logan got back to us right away when we were looking for a place to stay that was very important to us As some BnB don’t respond quickly and having you wonder all day if you have a comfortable Room highly recommend and the stars were nice to see in the early morning and at night

Good value for the money. Clean and comfortable inside, air conditioned, large and bright kitchen/dining/livingroom space. Outdoor firepit, pool. A few minutes outside of Bayfield. Our unit was upstairs which I didn’t realize until we got there. Deck area was a little rough on our side of the building. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a nice stay at Logan's airbnb with little ones, who had a great time. We arrived quite late on arrival (our fault) and finding the place in the dark was a little hard, but we were welcomed and helped to our rental, which was lucky and helpful. This was a tidy place to stay, and as it happened, very quiet, even though it's close to a main road and backing onto a campground. There were a few flies that zoomed in as we had some trouble with the door the first night and then didn't find the flyswatter until the last day but all was well. The kitchen has a great big fridge and plenty of dishes. There is a nice deck outside on which to have your morning coffee. The beds were comfortable, the shower was lovely, large and had great water pressure. If you stepped outside at night, you had a great view of the stars. Instructions from Logan on checkout are not onerous and he was extremely responsive to our queries. This was a great deal and convenient for our needs.

I stayed at this location for an extended period and can see it being a great weekend or even weeklong lodging. Definitely a place for a couple or a solo traveler. It has a well stocked kitchen and a cozy feel. With old brick walls and wooden floors you feel the history. Up one staircase from ground level you look out on city hall while being close to restaurants and shops. The parking situation is walkable being two blocks away but make sure to drop off your bags before. Also, the shared pool is actually the YMCA by the Cooper Parking lot. Make sure to get a memento at the crystal shop below, buy a book at Fanfare books, get an early morning tea/coffee at The Ashborne Cafe, go for a hot yoga class at Modo Yoga, and book reservation for dinner at Elizabeth!

We had a lovely stay at The Heron’s Nest. Gerry & Patty were thoughtful and helpful hosts that made us feel right at home. Overall, a great place to stay with a large family. The pool and hot tub were nice, and there is a beach that is walkable (.75 Miles away). The host was responsive to an issue we had during our stay that was due to a power outage. Our family really enjoyed the house, and the surrounding areas.
