There are super hosts - then there are extraordinary hosts like Henry and Lykke. They made us feel like honored family friends from the moment we met them. Our room was super comfortable, and it was made all the better by the friendly smiles and stories from our hosts who are life-long residents of the area. Their well-maintained common areas like the beautiful back deck area overlooking the river made us love Stratford all the more. Free, safe parking was great as their location was perfect for walking everywhere and we didn't even need the car. The breakfast provided was delicious and varied with many great choices - including lovely scrambled eggs! This was the perfect spot for my sister's 50th birthday weekend enjoying Stratford and I would HIGHLY recommend these amazing hosts for every visit to the area.

We had a great one-night stay with Lykke and Henry in their lovely traditional B&B. Easy stress-free check-in, room and amenities just as described. Beautiful historic home. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and theatre. We hope to stay again.

Just had an incredible stay at Kiwi Motel in Grand Bend! The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and local attractions. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. My daughter and I recently stayed at the Colonial Hotel in Grand Bend, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. I booked a King-sized room, and from the moment I entered, I was impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The hotel's location is perfect for those looking to enjoy Grand Bend. It’s just a short walk from the water, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it convenient for dining and exploring. Despite being close to the action, the hotel remained quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. The staff were friendly and attentive. The free marshmallows to roast over the campfire at night were a big hit with my daughter. The hotel’s location couldn’t have been better for a beach getaway. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and convenience in Grand Bend.

Beautiful room with everything I needed & easy self-checkin instructions; the fireplace made for really great ambiance & coziness, being there on a winter night. Short walking distance to all the restaurants, the beach, the LCBO, a grocery store; awesome location!

Our host called to offer an early check in and upgraded us to a suite with a fireplace as we stayed there New Year's Eve! The suite was beautiful and cozy and the hot tub was perfect on a cold, snowy night! I highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat!! Thank you for the hospitality!

Everything was great! The people were super friendly and helpful, the room was nice and just like the pictures. Beds were super comfy and the pool and hot tub area was wonderful to relax around. Live music on a Thursday evening and great drinks that they will bring to the pool for you. You can just park the car and leave it, everything is walkable. We will be back for sure! Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing renovations!

Great place for good price. The instructions said the pool and hot tub were open but that wasn’t true. The restaurant was also closed but the host was reachable via phone or Airbnb message. The place was clean and plenty of parking space was available. I’d recommend staying here.

Great stay in Stratford at the Stone maiden Inn. Very walkable--close to the Avon theatre and the downtown shops and restaurants. Very comfortable and welcoming stay for our 40 pound dog.

We really liked this room and are wondering when we might go back again. Noel was quick to help us and respond to any questions we had.

The place was reasonable priced and the restaurant down stairs was good, the staffs were very nice and friendly. The area was really nice and overall the whole place is very clean and nice.
