Welcome to Friese Wergea, located within cycling distance of Leeuwarden, the Alde Feanen National Park, and the water sports village of Grou. Welcome also to our old farmhouse, where part of the former stable has been transformed into a charming B&B. Uniquely decorated with lots of art on the walls and a well-stocked bookcase. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room. Breakfast included.

Villa Rose (on the waterfront)

Stay in one of the most beautiful villas in Friesland. The entire upper floor is at your disposal. Includes bathroom with bath (no bubbles), a living room with luxury sofa and television with Netflix, Videoland and a mini kitchen with microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The accommodation is sustainable (hardly any gas use) and equipped with air conditioning in the living room + bedrooms. In the winter months, it can be heated. There is a charging station for charging the electric car (cost).

With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Tiny House “Sleeping on the Lytse Geast”

At the end of 2023, we converted our cozy B&B into an apartment that is equipped with all comforts. And we speak from experience because during the renovation of our own house, we lived in it ourselves! 🏡 Also check out our website! The accommodation is located in a rural area, but also close to Leeuwarden and Dokkum. The perfect base for hiking and cycling. Your four-legged friend is welcome! 🐾 For the first day, you can order a luxurious DIY breakfast for €17.50 (2 people).

"As in Roaske" ("Like a Rose" in Frisian) is a cozy guest house/apartment with private entrance, located in a characteristic street of Burgum. The Waldhûske (built in 1918) where we live ourselves, served as a butcher shop at the time and has a completely renovated guest house at the back. Near the center of Burgum and within walking distance of various eateries and shops in the heart of "De Fryske Wâlden" where water, nature and various cycling and walking routes come together.

A beautiful new detached villa in a beautiful setting with complete privacy. During your stay in this spacious, soothing accommodation, you will forget all your worries. A Jacuzzi, sauna, sunbed and electric box springs ensure that you can relax in a beautiful environment! Everything is just new and equipped with every comfort. As can be seen in the photos, there is a shed behind the house. This will not bother you, there is little to no movement and certainly not at night.

This spacious, detached upstairs apartment has a sheltered roof terrace and a living room with lots of windows that offer views of the famous Oldehove and the green, water-rich Prinsentuin. The spacious kitchen has all the facilities to prepare a delicious meal. The house has 3 bedrooms, a crib and high chair, 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms. A free parking space outside and a separate indoor garage to be booked.

Apartment It Roefke

It Roefke has recently been completely renovated and is located in Alde Feanen National Park. Enjoy peace, comfort and nature in our cozy furnished apartment, located in the middle of De Alde Feanen National Park. From the apartment, you have direct access to the nature reserve: step outside and walk into the beautiful Frisian nature. The apartment is located opposite the skûtsjemuseum and within walking distance of the cozy village of Earnewâld.

Guesthouse "De Serre"

In beautiful Friesland, this beautiful house with great views is located. The Serre is a vacation home behind our house with a nice bright room which borders the large garden. Our dog, chickens and walking ducks also live in this garden. Great nature reserves in this region invite you to hike and cycle. In addition, Leeuwarden and Dokkum are cozy cities nearby. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the house.

In the middle of nature; De Ooievaar + Hot tub (optional)

Next to our small nature campsite (this is only open during the summer holidays) is a beautiful vacation home in the middle of nature. Jurjen has made the cottage all by himself and made sure that you can completely relax. The kitchen is a real “Oldtimer” but also with oven. The wood-fired Hottub can be rented separately for €90,- for a weekend and €120,- for a midweek/week.
