Chalet vacation rentals in Huez

Very pleasant stay in a cottage where everything is there to spend a quiet vacation. Annick welcomes us as if we were at home. A quiet environment that offers all kinds of activities... in short, a real family-friendly mountain vacation break. We recommend it.

Very well equipped house in nice location. Short drive to lift (it is not really walkable in ski boots). Host was responsive, house was spotless. There were 6 of us and although house has beds for 13 that would be a real squash! There are comfy chairs around the fire for 8 and dining table would seat max 10.

We had a great week. The weather was at the rendezvous but above all, the accommodation was very nice and the hosts were very welcoming and attentive. There is space and the area is so beautiful. Skiing, hiking, walking are nearby. I would recommend it in a second.

Beautiful view, very quiet and peaceful. Cozy and well appointed apartment. Easy check-in. Great, I recommend it! Just note that there is no bakery or small shop within walking distance (it's our fault we should have looked but at least you know!).

The house is more beautiful than the pictures, we loved our stay. There are incredible views (especially when combined with the snow) with the soothing sound of a nearby river. It is a great spot for a peaceful get away/ ski trip. Our host was very helpful with every question we had and since the instructions were very clear about everything we did not have any dificulties. Lastly, house amenities are described accurately. All in all I can say it is a perfect place!

A great little cottage close to some shops in the village and with many activities nearby (hiking, walks with donkeys, educational farm to visit just a little further away...) The house is super well-equipped, very comfortable and very easily heated with a few logs in the wood stove. The bedding is comfortable as well.

We found this cottage to celebrate my birthday, very responsive host and beautiful cottage! Everything is nearby if you want to go skiing, go to the bar or restaurant!

We had an exceptional stay! Everything is thought out in every detail to offer optimal comfort and a memorable experience. The accommodation is impeccably clean, perfectly equipped and tastefully decorated. The hosts are simply great: welcoming, caring, and extremely responsive. They were able to make our stay even more enjoyable thanks to their valuable advice and great availability. We recommend this place without a second thought and will come back without hesitating!

All round excellent. No interruptions. Keys in key box. Excellent broadband. Not the hosts fault (at all), but don't think you can go to the french alps at this altitude to cool down in the summer. We saw temperatures north of 30 degrees at the end of August. The property is well insulated. One fan is provided, so bring your own or potentially ask if more can be provided...we don't know if that is possible. Alpine walking and cycling from doorstep, but we think it is worth a mention that cycling and walking on the flat for long distance is possible right from the doorstep, which is great for less fit people or those over a certain age. The famous ascent to Alpe d'Huez (Tour de France) is effectively on the doorstep!! You have to bring your own bikes or hire them (easily) in the village.

Wonderful family weekend spent in Marie-Aimée's cottage. We were 14 adults and 4 children. We all had to, including at the table. The main living room upstairs is beautiful with the fireplace. Marie-Aimée was more than accommodating on schedules and very responsive by message. We lacked nothing! The location is convenient, a short walk from St Jean d'Arves. Thank you, I highly recommend it!

Tim has a wonderful apartment and Shawn is super helpful and responds very quickly. Both before the stay and during the stay. There are many facilities, including a great kitchen and even a sauna. Only thing that makes the chalet not a 10 would be that the hallway is a little noisy for the early sleepers. As long as you don’t talk it’s not a problem though.

Dominic is a very nice and kind and very responsive host We had a great weekend The cottage is great and extremely well located in a peaceful and magical environment We had some very nice walks near the chalet. We went to the 2 Alps where we had a great snow day. Dominic recommended us an equipment renter who gave us a nice discount! The only downside: the weekend went too quickly!

Brilliant chalet. We had 9 people staying there which was comfortable. 1 double room, 2 rooms with twin singles then the upstairs area with two double beds in the same room. Very responsive host, easy check in/out. Chalet is well stocked. Ski and boot locker included is a 2 minute walk from Jandri lift located underneath the umbrella bar at Cote Brun Hotel and is a MASSIVE plus and major selling point for this property. Overall really great. Minor criticism would be there are only 2 toilets (3 showers) which feels definitely one toilet too few, also the sinks are located outside the toilet room itself which is always weird. Apart from that though really great and comfortable stay. Thank you

We really enjoyed the house: it matches the description perfectly, it's clean and quiet, with a great view. The host is super nice, he even provided us with a barbecue and medicine.

We had a great time at Josiane's; the setting is very beautiful, the accommodation is quiet and functional. We enjoyed the friendly welcome from our host and their hospitality. The location of the accommodation allowed us to take very nice hikes and access the heart of the village easily without taking the car.

Confortable cabin for a very peaceful vacation. We went here last it’s my kids and they loved the lake view! Also, we managed to ski for one day in a station only 1 hour away!

Pascal's cottage is friendly and extremely peaceful, you are lulled by the sound of the river and the calm of the mountain. The amenities available in the house allow you to cook all the small dishes of the mountain. The lifts are 5 minutes away, only the Saint Colomban estate is off-center from the Domaine des Sybelles. I would highly recommend it! Pascal is a attentive and caring host.

Very nice small cottage 200 m from the lake just behind the owner's house and close to sailing rentals. Good stay despite the lack of kitchen essentials (salt, pepper and olive oil)

Perfect accommodation for a family gathering, access close to the ski resort, very peaceful environment. The only downside in my opinion is the price of electricity to be added at the end of the stay. We had it for 107 euros without excess and without using the sauna ...
