Beachfront vacation rentals in Hudson Valley

Our stay at the beach house was restful. The listing was spacious, with two outdoor seating areas both with a view of the ocean. Parking was plentiful, right outside the condo. The beds, linens, and towels were were comfortable/soft. We appreciated having the washer/dryer available. There are a few grocery stores within walking distance, very convenient. The beach was glorious - keep an eye out for dolphins, we saw many, as well as other wildlife like crabs and birds. Dogs were not allowed on the beach during the day but the ranger said we could be there in the mornings and evenings. Easy location to get to JFK airport.

We enjoyed our stay! Such easy access to the beach was so convenient. You’re definitely better off venturing out after high tide to enjoy the most amount of beach and there are a lot of shells that make being barefoot challenging. We did arrive after major storms which could have contributed to that. The house was spotless with everything you need to be comfortable! We did not utilize the outdoor space but definitely would have if the weather was drier! Definitely would stay here again.

We had a great, comfortable stay here. It was especially nice to be so close to the beach and the restaurants in Walnut Beach. Would definitely stay again!

We loved this Airbnb. It was beautiful there and Michael was quick to answer any questions. We did manage to get on the water with the kayaks, so that was great. We will definitely be back.

Amazing place, great host!

We loved everything about our stay! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The surrounding nature was beautiful. The hot tub was amazing, especially when it was chilly outside. The fire pit area was perfect for cozy evenings. There were plenty of activities both indoors and outdoors. I highly recommend this house!

The house was immaculate and was exactly as pictured. Beautiful property overlooking the lake. Candace was an amazing hostess- very communicative and accommodating. Perfect family getaway- hoping to come back again soon. The Aldi down the street was a definite bonus.

We had a great time. We were able to kayak and use the other amenities on the property. Everything was well thought out. Scott was very communicative and responsive.

Our family of 5 had a perfect 3 night stay at this cozy cabin on the water. It was perfect writ equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed grilling on the deck while watching our kids fish from the dock. Our kids especially enjoyed sitting around the fire out in the yard each night. If we ever visit the area again we will surely book this spot. Highly recommend.

We had the perfect vacation at Kathleen’s. The place was private, clean, and an incredible view. We had a private beach directly below us and ate breakfast outside in the porch looking out to the lake. 10/10 recommended this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Melody Manor. The unit was immaculate and had everything you need. The view was fabulous! We were there in the off season so it was quiet - but, just what we were looking for. I can see how this would be a great place to stay in the summer - pool, tennis/pickle ball, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Very happy with Rose and how responsive she was - will definitely consider staying here again if we are back in Lake George!

Linsey’s home was a beautiful setting for a girls weekend. It was cozy, had plenty of comfortable beds and amenities. The only thing to be aware of is that the basement is very cold (or at least while we were there), so perhaps being prepared with warm clothing if you spend time down there!

Great hosts! Responsive, helpful, and kind. My family had a great weekend over Memorial Day. The weather was on the cold and rainy side for this time of year but the basement had all the kids fully entertained! I highly recommend their place for families. We had a few ping pong championships along with PAC Man last man standing tournaments. The location for local hikes and neighborhood amenities is perfect.

Annie’s place has everything you need. It rained a lot while we stayed her house, but we didn’t need to go anywhere coz the house has a lot of amenities. We and my guests enjoyed playing billiards, board games and just watching view. Highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Vivian’s place! The home was beautiful, clean, and well-appointed—exactly as pictured. We especially loved spending time out on the lake—it was peaceful and relaxing, the perfect getaway. Vivian was a great host and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind in a scenic and comfortable setting!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chandra's A-frame! The location on the lake is perfect and we loved sitting outside and just looking at the lake. While you are in the woods and secluded, Chandra had all the little amenities available to make your stay super comfortable. Would definitely rent again for a get away weekend to relax and enjoy nature.

Dave's place is absolutely phenomenal. The house is immaculate and fully stocked. Dave was very responsive and friendly. It was a great experience and I will definitely recommend this place to friends when they're in the vicinity.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this spacious and cozy Airbnb! Everything was in perfect condition, and the hosts truly thought of every detail to make our experience comfortable and enjoyable. The house was incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed — from a relaxing hot tub and kayaks to a beautiful deck and a sun room. We had a great time at Francois & Ann's oasis by the lake. It was so relaxing to wake up, look at the lake, and listen to birds chirp. If you are looking for isolation, this place does the trick, We didn't see anyone all week on the lake or at the other cabins until the day we left. The lake has excellent fishing. With little effort, we caught several decent-sized bass and pickerel right off the dock. The location is ideal. You feel like you are out in the country, but are close to great restaurants in Kinderhook and only 25 minutes from Hudson or Albany. It's also only an hour from Mass Moca and 90 minutes to Cooperstown. Francois and Ann were very communicative and quickly responded to questions and comments.

I stayed for a month solo to focus on my projects & it was the most peaceful month. The house is contained in nature with a plethora of birds & animal life that I witnessed.. a crane fishing at the creek beside the house as I worked, a pair of woodpeckers hunting at the lawn, a chipmunk that lives under the house & has a morning ritual of its own. All while the lake boasted breathtaking sunsets. On the practical side, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything one needs to cook everyday, which I did. It was private & safe for a solo girl like me to stay a month. Amazon found its way to it no problem. And there are nice streets to take long walks which I did 1 hour a day. Very friendly neighbors, everyone waves at ya. The covered patio, working from the dinner table, waking up in the bedroom to the lake.. all main areas are flanked by beauty. Really was perfect for a solo getaway. Also wifi was very reliable. Keep in mind lake living = insects. They’re harmless. Highly rec renting!
