My group and I had an incredible stay at Chee and Taras’ place! From the moment we booked, communication with them was smooth, prompt, and stress-free. Check-in was effortless, and the house itself was clean, beautifully styled, and had a warm, welcoming vibe. Chee and Taras truly went above and beyond with the thoughtful touches throughout. From providing pantry staples in the kitchen, cleaning supplies, and toiletries; to a downstairs speaker, extra linens, blankets, and pillows; a prepared fireplace with firewood and clear sauna instructions — everything was thoughtfully provided to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The house is also very spacious. With a group of 12 adults, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax without ever feeling cramped. Overall, we had an amazing time and I’d absolutely recommend Chee and Taras’ place to anyone looking for a perfect stay in the area.

Absolutely magnificent place. I could not quite believe that view every morning. And the birds! I sat on the porch with my binoculars and managed to catch sight of the lesser seen Eastern rosellas, spinebills, and a confident little shrike! Peta and Dieter were so friendly and accommodating and helped us settle in straight away. The place was so cosy and warm, I could have stayed another week if not just to wake up with the birds every morning. We were also greeted by a couple of gorgeous dogs, and the chickens came to say hello every day! Great value for money. We really hope to be back, it is such a special place with a wonderful energy. Thank you so much!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Geoff’s hilltop home. Geoff was incredibly friendly, approachable, and helpful throughout our visit, which made us feel right at home. The house itself is perched literally on the top of a hill, offering breathtaking views that we never got tired of. We especially loved spending time on the first-floor deck—it was the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. The cedar interior gave the place a warm, inviting feel, and it really added to the overall charm of the home. Our 4-year-old son was thrilled to spot deer and colourful birds right from the property, which made the experience even more magical for us. There are plenty of walking and biking trails nearby, and the sunsets and nighttime stargazing are simply unforgettable. We’d absolutely love to come back again—highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in nature with a view !

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend at the Riverside House. Andrew met us on arrival and was very welcoming. The location and house are very special, we enjoyed being right next to the river with balmy autumn evenings enjoying the view from the deck. Can’t wait to go back!
