Starlight Meadow Yurt

The yurt is a modern, light, space with a deck. It's nestled between a mixed conifer forest and Starlight Meadow. We're at the end of a private road on 20 acres. The property is gated for your comfort and peace of mind. There's a large trampoline at the edge of the meadow perfect for stargazing and sunsets. The Cottage is a renovated former horse hotel. It retains the charm of its former use yet is well appointed and updated for comfort & convenience. The cottage overlooks a pasture with 1 barns with the Siskiyous beyond to the south & the Ashland, Grizzly Peak Hills to the east. We are only 2 easy miles from downtown Ashland with multiple wineries close by. There is hiking, swimming at Emigrant Lake nearby as well. Considering the central location of this little gem, it is amazingly peaceful. To add to this charm, the cottage is fresh & bright with a lovely view across the valley. What a joy to walk across the street to the theater & dinner without parking issues. Besides being clean & safe, I like the king size bed, the fireplace, the choice of large tub or shower, the heated bathroom floor, and the little yard, the most. NEW: a high speed (240 volt) charger for EVs. You need an adapter.

Built in 1852, the Mountain House, listed on the national historic register, is southern Oregon's oldest timber-framed house. Adjacent to the house amid lush gardens, the renovated two-story brick stage coach driver's quarters is a cozy, private get-away. Microwave, refrigerator, electric water pot, coffee maker downstairs along with bathroom. Upstairs comfy queen bed, armoire, easy chair, television, and beautiful views from every window!

You will be a 10 minute drive from Downtown Ashland and feel like you are out in the country. The home sits on 8 private acres and has river frontage and a beach on the year round Emigrant Creek. There are beautiful views in all directions of mountains, trees and wildlife. The home is a two story residential barn built in 2012 and remodeled in 2022 (the main living quarters is upstairs).
