House vacation rentals in Houma

If you are lookin for a quiet and kid friendly place to stay this is it. My kids truly loved the stay we wanted to stay another night, but we will book again while we visit family.

We had a great stay at Joe’s place. Clean and well stocked. Nice big yard on the canal, with a small dock and a landing. Joe was very easy to communicate with and had a tasty gumbo waiting in the fridge for us when we arrived. Fun place to bring my son and a friend for a weekend getaway.

The stay was more than adequate for our needs. Plenty of room and a peaceful location. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend to anyone.

Great stay. Everything exactly as described. Pictures accurately reflected the exterior/interior. Check-in instructions and checkout process was easy. Entire group enjoyed our time at Jeff’s place. Would definitely stay here again. Travel note: we stayed mid-August 2024. The bridge is out on Hwy 56 just South of the property at Lapeyrouse Bar & Grocery so be sure to come down Hwy 56 through Chauvin AND NOT Hwy 57 through Dulac when traveling to the property. GPS may send you down Hwy 57 if traffic is heavy in Houma/towards Chauvin but you will not be able to access the property due to the bridge construction if coming down Hwy 57.

Ron was such a great guest, his property is in a great location, and very well taken care of. I definitely recommend Ron and his property to anyone looking to stay in New Orleans!

It was an amazing places for my whole family to stay. Lots of space for my baby, all his toys and his walker! Blaine is super friendly and super responsive to texts!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb while visiting New Orleans! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to all the action but in a quiet area that allowed for a good night’s rest. The host was incredibly responsive. I truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay in NOLA!

Beautiful place and the right amount of space for me and my wife. The decor is amazing. It had just the right amount of space. Also, Alex was super helpful and the response time is quick. Alex, left of snacks and everything. Also i forgot the place is super clean and it feels like home. Can’t wait to stay again in September. Alex thanks again for everything.

This charming Victorian style home was impeccably clean and well stocked with all the essentials. We loved the peacock decor! We were in Houma for a wedding so having 3 bathrooms to use to get ready worked out good. The weather was beautiful during our stay so we sat on the front porch and had our coffee in the morning and a glass of wine (provided by the host!) at night. It was a short walk to St. Gregory for mass on Sunday. I would highly recommend this beautiful, comfortable home to any visitors to Houma.

Timothy was an excellent host—very accommodating and responsive. His home was absolutely beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed while still feeling peaceful and private. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely book again!

It was great. It was more than enough room for my family. The home entertainment for kids and adults. It’s right by a fishing spot for the fishing.Would definitely book again.
