Family-friendly vacation rentals in Houghton Regis

Had a fantastic weekend here celebrating for a hen weekend! The place was perfect to accommodate a large group, big enough for communal socialising but also enough private spaces. Cathy was fantastic at communicating and was happy to provide extras where needed. Brilliant location, stunning views and easy to get to Cambridge centre! Would definitely stay here again.

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

Sally’s place felt like going through a portal into a magical garden. The house was so cozy with beautiful vintage decor and an amazing fireplace. The highlight of the trip was eating breakfast outside by the river and watch the ducks. And can’t forget about the lovely host Sally is! Always responsive and helpful with lots of good food and nature walks recommendations.

The property is tucked away but we found it pretty easily as the instructions were very helpful. The cottage was perfect as a base for us and has some thoughtful touches such as lots of towels, and tea, coffee and other essentials.

We stayed in the pool house, fantastic location with a beautiful scenery. Very private and comfortable stay. Welcome book was very informative with places to visit and restaurant in area. I would advise you do a shop before, as local shops are not walking distance. We had four days of quality family time and the pool and hot tub was amazing. Highly recommended, we will be returning. Just wow! We had the most beautiful stay. The annexe is absolutely beautiful. The bedroom has everything you need including a super comfy bed! The downstairs with the bathroom, amazing shower and bath. Kitchen with absolutely everything you would need and more! Sally is the most amazing host- so friendly, kind and clearly an excellent and experienced host, who knows exactly what her guest will want and need! The grounds are absolutely breathtaking & the hot tub overlooking the stream and beautiful views is to die for! We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Sally! X

We had a great week in Baldock at Malex's beautiful home! Lots of space and 2.5 modern bathrooms with big tub was nice. Easy train to London and Cambridge with a short walk to/from the station. Plenty of nice town & nature walks around Baldock. Make sure to check out Day's Bakery for fresh-baked pastries and sandwiches. Malex was very kind to meet us on arrival to show us around the property, but respects your privacy and is available only if you need help with anything. WiFi was solid, kitchen well appointed and modern, heating warm in chilly February, comfortable furnishings, laundry in-home if needed. Definitely would stay again and highly recommended as the perfect base for exploring Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. Thank you Malex! Gary

It’s been pleasure to work with Mr. Danny, great host, very communicative and responsive. Ive been in UK for medical treatment for my daughter, i was so lucky to rent a flat from Mr. Danny, he was very understanding man and patience with me since i don’t know how long am going to stay in UK and how much time the treatment will take. Definitely am going to rent from him again if i have the chance to visit UK. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Sir.

Great stay, had everything we needed

Martin really went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. The property was great for our needs and was very convenient for the Snow Centre. It was perfect!

Peter’s property was ideal for us in between selling our home and moving abroad, and he even accommodated our five pets which was brilliant and more than you could hope for with a usual air BnB property. Peter was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We were so pleased and would definitely stay again if we are even in the area!

Our team loved their stay at Ami's place. Ami is a brilliant host and nothing was too much trouble. there was a problem with the heating and this was sorted within a couple hours of reporting this. The house is spacious , comfy and spotless with plenty of parking. We can recommend Ami and his house we can recommend this house to everyone , sorry not too many as it will be booked up next time we are in the area and the team would be disappointed if they couldn't stay

My partner and I had a fabulous stay here, with a warm welcome and everything you needed on arrival. Perfect, and would definitely recommend.

The cottage & the ground are fantastic with space & lots of things to do with children. We really enjoyed the stay with thanks to Karen & Phil. (Just a minor challenge for us was a baby crying quite a lot at night time in the next door cottage - but it may just be unfortunate timing).

Veronica and husband were great when i arrived for check in and then on hand if needed (which was hardly needed) gave me an excellent recommendation for a local walk which was brilliant. accomodation had so much character and was perfect for what we wanted it for.
