Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Houghton Estate

I loved every minute of staying here! It was everything I wanted and needed. The perfect spot for staying over in JHB. I am planning my next trip there already! Loved it.

The place is wonderful and the hosts are great. Very responsive and allowed me to check in super early. I really enjoyed staying at the place. It is pricey, but stunning views and great location. My only comments are that I could see some of the furniture has been stained, damaged or worn by other guests. Also for a place this expensive there were no luxury amenities. Amenities were very basic. TV in living room was a bit older so I could not get Netflicks or Youtube. Still a great place but these things would have made a great place - superb. Minor touches but this place is definitely still a 9.9/10 and I would highly recommend it.

Jorge’s apartment was absolutely beautiful. The place was just as it appeared in the photos, and clean. The view from the balcony was also amazing. Jorge was a great responsive host and friendly. The emerald development was a great property, the gym and pool area were a big highlight. The area had a nice mall and restaurants close by. Would highly recommend.

When I come to Joburg I always stay at Bernadine's flat due to its proximity to Befordsquare Mall and the interstate! Her flat is in a really decent community with very diverse residents, not to mention covered parking!

Peaceful. Stunning. Feels like home. Annalize is an exceptional and warm host. I was glad to stay at her place after a long flight. She really makes you feel welcome. Her rusks were just the cherry on top.

Check in was a breeze. Bianca was such a good host, instructions were given and we had no problem checking in at all. Apartment is guarded so it's very safe and secure. Apartment was clean and big! The bathrooms are functional. Nice yard for bbq too. Location is good, 6 mins drive to Sandton mall.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Amenities were top notch. It's in an ideal location with Rosebank mall and environs on your doorstep. We can certainly recommend it and would book again without hesitation.

The space was really great, better than the pictures. The value for the place was also incredible considering the area we stayed in David was a great host, very responsive and was very helpful when we needed assistance. Would definitely go back

I had a great stay! The place was clean, exactly as described, and easy to find. The host was very responsive, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the start. House rules were clear and easy to follow, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

It was a pleasure staying at Charmaine’s. The house is spacious, very well equipped and comfortable - a real home away from home. The garden was also a welcome distraction for the kids. I would stay there again with pleasure. Thank you for everything Charmaine and Stefan we were so grateful for the house during a difficult few days. We felt safe and comfortable.

The only downside to our trip was not being able to extend our stay - a very beautiful home with lots of personality in a safe neighbourhood. We especially enjoyed the garden and it served as a great backdrop for photos. The rooms were large and each had its own special touch. Mini was very kind and Ezna, our caretaker was readily available to help with the tiny snags we had here and there, not to mention the housekeeping tasks she's available to assist with - please feel free to tip her.

The place was really beautiful and felt more like a home than a standard air BNB. There were all amenities needed for us, including spices and milk for tea. Our favorite part was the outdoor area as it felt so relaxing and welcoming. I would recommend staying here and it’s an excellent stay for your money in a gated community.

EXCELLENT property in an ideal neighborhood. I felt right at home upon entry, This i s a very peaceful community where you can relax and rest extremely well. RAOUL, the host was very professional and accommodating, I will recommend this properly to my family and friends who plan to travel to South Africa.

Dieter’s apartment was exactly what we wanted - so we to could visit an elderly relative very nearby when over from the UK. It was spacious, clean, very secure and well-equipped. The welcome from both Dieter and his wife Brigitte was extremely warm and friendly and we look forward to another visit to base ourselves there in the not too distant future. Wonderful short stay at Ingrids place. Pristine accomodation in beautiful suburb with easy access to transport/e hailing services. Host is super friendly and attended to all my needs.

Exactly as described in the pictures, close to everything we wanted to do. My kids really enjoyed themselves Only issue was the WiFi/fibre, it was on & off. However, this was communicated before we arrived. Overall, it was an excellent weekend and the host was the best 👌🏽

Felt right at home. Surrounded by everything didn’t need to go very far for much enjoyed the walk to the mall or local stores. Quiet, safe & spacious. Perfect place on the midst of everything.

Louise was communicative and helpful. The apartment is well maintained and within walking distance to the Dainfern Mall. Stunning kitchen! Only small incident for me was that the gate to the complex is within the shopping center bounds, so an additional ticket was required to enter - no cost but it took a while before I found the exact entrance from Ways directions. Very tight security which is a welcome in JHB and Louise even provided helpful information should Uber or take-aways be used. Thanks for a great stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! Muofhe was incredibly kind, always available, and went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. From the moment I booked, they were incredibly responsive and proactive with communication, always available to answer questions . It’s clear the host genuinely cares about their guests’ experience. Found the place to be central and peaceful. Very comfortable and stylish.

Jason was an excellent host. He was very approachable and proactive with communication. We were very clear on how to access the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is well-fitted and close to all exciting things in Sandton while being private. Will definitely be staying here again!
