Vacation rentals with breakfast in Houghton Estate

Amazing location with a responsive host. 9 of us stayed here and all of us had our own beds and there are plenty of bathrooms. Highly recommended for a large group of people.

a lovely place with so much attention to detail! The house is luxurious, suitable for groups and was exceptionally clean! The kitchen was homely, well equipped and had a good selection of spices, oils and condiments meant less packing for us. We loved the tea and coffee station that had everything we needed. The bedrooms were amazing, giving each couple a lovely large room with ensuite bathroom! Having every room air conditioned. The bathrooms were squeaky clean and all the necessities were provided, towels, Shampoos, hand and body creams. Malibongwe was a great host! Available to assist whenever we needed him. Big ups ! The house is exactly what is described and the pictures match the description too ! One suggestion tho, please consider moving the guest house manager to a separate room outside the main house. We were a bit restrained in terms of noise making as we had to consider him But overall, Malibongwe was a great host. He didn’t mind the noise.

Our stay was fantastic from prior communications to the team at the property who assisted us for the stay. We also had a last minute change of plan that Rodney fully accommodated for us without fuss which was a huge help to us. The house and amenities were fantastic and it is a small oasis and was exactly what we needed for a family gathering and great accommodation. Five stars also to Maria who was an absolute star and was like part of the family within the three days of our visit. All in all a perfect Johannesburg interlude for us and big thank you to Rodney and Maria for making it a memorable time for us all.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Riaan and Malia were so hospitable and always responsive when we reached out to them. They even greeted us when we first arrived and gave us fresh baked bread. The outdoor area is very nice and fun for children to play. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of supplies to cook/bake. The house is very safe and secure and just as shown in the pictures. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

One of the best Airbnb I've stayed at. Sandy and her husband are such great hosts and VG who is the house keeper is so friendly too. I think I would never stay anywhere else in Johannesburg when I am back. Thank you Sandy

Peter’s place is a gem in Bryanston, centrally located, peaceful, gorgeous, well appointed, it’s our new home away from home. THE EVERYTHING was spotless and well maintained. The grounds are huge, outstanding for 3 teenagers to shoot hoops, play soccer, huge pool, fantastic braai area and amazing indoor/outdoor living area. Peter was sincerely the best host ever, very reliable, accommodating, addressed all our needs with grace. Truly our home away from home, Peter’s place has our highest recommendation, thank you Peter, see you again soon!!!

Ok place could do with small updates to push it to good TV in lounge is hit and miss could be a easy win

Very well designed space with privacy and comfort. Easy to find very secure and convenient for northern parts of joburg. Furniture and linen are top quality and space is small but well designed. Definitely good value.

Outstanding little slice of heaven. This special spot doesn’t even feel like it’s anywhere near to Johannesburg, however, it’s extremely close to the airport, has a beautiful restaurant on the premises with friendly staff, and breathtaking grounds. Will be visiting again :)

The apartment is gorgeous and modern in a beautiful neighborhood with conveniences of a fabulous cafe that was delicious for breakfast and shopping center nearby that had a modern French restaurant, Tasha’s, that we enjoyed for dinner. An acquaintance of the owners drove us around during the day to Apartheid Museum across town, amazing artifact shop and the to the airport. We felt safe and so well taken care of - as if we were a friend visiting for the weekend! I wish we lived ver closer to visit more often. We highly recommend staying there!

Yak is an amazing host. His place is very central, quiet and has everything a home needs. Perfect for one or two people. Highly recommended.

Had a great time with my family. Apartment is baby friend .. it had everything we needed . The kitchen was fully equipped we even decided to get groceries and cook during our stay.. lovely host . Brain responds very quickly and basically does things before you even ask .. 11/10 ! ⭐️

Theo assisted me with accommodation last minute and was extremely helpful. Anything I didn’t understand, he speedily provided clarity. Highly recommend and would stay there again. Much better than a hotel stay!!!

Very accommodating host , who was able to respond positively to my request for a deviation from the normal check in & out times . Comfortable guesthouse run by someone who evidently loves what he’s doing. Recommended

Kloofies felt like a home away from home. Hostess was very warm and welcoming and made great recommendations for nearby attractions. I will definitely return Kloofies again

We didn’t end up staying overnight because our flight was changed, but the room and the guest house were both charming and pleasantly quirky. We’d book to stay again if we find ourselves back in Johannesburg

I really enjoyed my stay at Sam’s place. The location is great - it’s in a nice area of the city, close to many restaurants, etc. Sam was very kind and provided great recommendations. The house itself is beautiful and the room was clean and had everything I needed.

it was a nice place to stay. it's quiet, neat and the host is accommodating as well.

I stayed here for two weeks and had a wonderful time! The room came with a heater and an electric blanket so I was comfortable even during the winter. Nicki was on and off the property and was always incredibly responsive to messages. Mary and the entire staff were incredible and made me feel right at home. As a single female traveler I was definitely a little bit nervous but I could not recommend Nicki's home more. The wifi was also very fast and I experienced no load shedding during my stay.
