Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hotham Heights

It was such a perfect little spot, nestled into the bush with lots of space to roam… but close enough to Bright to gather the essentials. And right on the doorstep of Mount Buffalo National Park!

We had a lovely stay at Gil's place, very comfortable and warm had everything you need for a relaxing holiday. A really beautiful house with fantastic views of the mountains and close to town. Would gladly stay again..

What a beautiful place to relax and explore the area. Every window in the house had a serene outlook - looking over the dam, out to the highland cows, over to the sheep and lambs; with so many places to sit a relax - by the fire pit at the edge of the running creek, comfortable chairs in a number of nooks inside and out. We really felt at home. Thank you.

Our second stay at the house and again a very lovely relaxing time. This time it was colder but the place was cosy and warm, so perfect for all times of the year!

Martine’s farm house is in a beautiful location very peaceful and quiet. The farm house is very clean and comfy with heaters in the rooms and a fire place in the lounge its easily kept warm on cold nights, with lots of games and books for the kids. Martine is a friendly host being very easy to communicate with.

perfect place for the four of us that came to omeo to ride our mountain bikes, the location is awesome short walk to pubs and cafes ,supermarket just across the road. super close to all the mountain bike activities. the house itself is great , comfortable beds and lounge suites fully equipped kitchen etc , modern renovated bathroom, lovely hot water. Jenny the host had the fire going for us prior to arrival, the bedrooms had heating and rugs , all and all a great little property, excellent value for money and excellent hosts , thank you very much

Excellent location, easy to get in, really well stocked kitchen, clean linen and towels. We appreciated Sally‘s prompt response to questions we had before our arrival, and when there was a power outage which was entirely outside her control. A great stay. Recommend.

We loved our stay with Melinda at Creekside. The place is cosy and inviting. It is tucked away on the creek - as the name suggests - which provides privacy and is peacefully quiet, yet it is still very close to cafes, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. Melinda is a friendly host with great communication. I'd highly recommend anyone to come and stay if you are ever visiting Mansfield. Top notch.

Lovely weekend up in High Country Vic! Harrietville was the perfect spot to set off for hiking and away from the busyness of Bright. Elizabeth’s place was cozy in a gorgeous farm! Internet was spotty but that’s regional Vic for you!!

Geoffrey’s place was lovely and we think it’d be great for families looking for a retreat. Groceries could easily be resupplied at Mansfield and Mt Buller was also a short drive away. Would totally revisit if we get the chance and definitely recommend it to family and friends looking to reconnect with nature :)

Fantastic, well-equipped airbnb that has pretty much everything travellers need. The place has a relaxing vibe and is very comfortable and clean. It is perfect for both work and leisure activities. Being a light sleeper, it does take a while to get used to the sound of cars going past (there's not much traffic late night but does start quite early in the morning). That being said, this place is still one of top airbnbs I've been to.

We had a relaxing week at the "Shearer's Hut" quiet and beautiful scenery.

Beautiful place in the heart of Beechworth. Very homely with some quirky, yet classy decor. Loved the inclusion of the record player! Everything as advertised and a friendly responsive host. Will definitely book to stay again next time we are in Beechworth. Thank you for having us 😊

Perfect place to stay for backpackers. The location is very close to the Razorback trailhead where we hiked for a day. There is a nice view of Mt. Feathertop from the unit's terrace. Complete with amenities and kichenette. 2-3 minutes drive up to the town where there's a lot of restaurants and shops. Will definitely come back here for our Mt. Bogong trip next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Renja’s apartment. The place was clean, tidy and comfortable, perfect for our weekend at Falls Creek. Renja was a great host, very responsive and provided clear instructions.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Mary’s place. The apartment had everything we needed - from the super comfy bed and sofa, to all the kitchen amenities, as well as the high quality shampoo and hair conditioner that kept my hair very smooth even during winter times. I got to enjoy a nice cup of coffee every morning before hitting the slope as there’s a nespresso machine (there’s even cocoa powder provided to put on top of my coffee!!). From every little details, you could tell how much thoughts the host has put into designing this apartment. Location is perfect as well as it’s right at the centre of Hotham Central. Also, Mary is a super friendly and helpful host, very responsive whenever we needed help. We would love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Katherine gave clear instructions and plenty of information about the area. Our group of 6 adults were comfortable and found it a very enjoyable place to spend our family reunion. The kitchen had anything you needed including a cake tin which we had forgotten. You will need to do your own cleaning as you leave and you’re relying on the guests before you to have cleaned the place, so it was decently clean but not pristine. However for the location and the shoulder season prices it was very much worth the trip! We would happily be back for future gatherings!

Absolutely loved our stay at this house! The kids had an amazing time in the swimming pool, and I couldn’t get enough of the stunning view. The house was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a small family of two or three. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay!

Had a great stay here with a group of friends for a ski weekend in Mt Hotham. The place is so well set up, very spacious and the fire was going when we arrived. Kitchen has everything you need, big comfy couches and warm heaters throughout. Location is great, can easily walk to the shops or pub. Highly recommend!
